I've previously frequented la Fattoria on a monthly basis several years ago and upon my recent return to Milan, I had dinner at this restaurant with a colleague. Things have not changed at all since my last visit; however, the son has grown-up and has become an intricate part of this family owned and operated restaurant.
The locale is plainly decorated and has tablecloth tables. Fresh fish and seafood is nicely displayed on shaved ice. Window curtains are drawn closed, offering privacy, though no view of activity outdoors. The service provided by the son is attentive and very cordial.
The family has Sardinian origins so you can find some original Sardinian dishes on the menu, along with other standards of Italian cuisine. Everything has always been delicious and moderately priced. This visit I stared with the mixed seafood pasta that was excellent and the portion was generous. I follow this with the grilled jumbo prawns that we perfectly cooked, even if they had been previously frozen. A side dish of sautéed spinach in butter was a nice accompaniment to the prawns.
I highly recommend La Fattoria to the TripAdvisor community.
