“Good but...”
Reviewed 15 March 2014 via mobile

As far as hotels go, I have nothing bad to say about it.
Rooms spacious, rich looking, polite staff who run regular trips to the station and the food in the restaurant was delicious and the price was reasonable.

Now the but... The hotel is quite a distance from the centre of Milan and the surrounding area has nothing of interest in it if you fancy a walk in the evenings. As mentioned, they collect from the train which is the best way into Milano.

The hotel is a fantastic venue if you're in town for business, but if you want the Milan nightlife, it's probably too far out.

That being said my wife and I loved the hotel and aren't big on nights out so this wasn't a factor.

Stayed June 2013, travelled as a couple

Stopped here with my girlfriend May 2012. Nice clean hotel, out of the way of the city but easy to get to on train, then you call them and the men in black pick you up from the station, at night they picked us up from Sforzesco Castle. Friendly staff and great value for a weekend break.

The hotel is rather nice , however so far from Milan center that you immediately regret it.
Rooms are modern and ok , not big even with a deluxe room .
It depends what you expectations are.
Mine were wrong.
I thought I could take a taxi and go downtown and spend the night in a modern hotel with a swimming pool , however it turned out that taxis charge the drive to the hotel , so when they reach hotel you already start with minimum 12 euros. So to and back will cost you minimum 60 euros .
If you go by bus than of course it is different and much cheaper.
Nothing memorable of this hotel.

Room Tip: Think before what you want from your trip and what kind of a traveler you actually are

The rooms are nice, clean & comfortable. The breakfast buffet is not much in variety, but good. The hotel is located near the Milan Fair Grounds, but far out of the city. They provide free shuttle service to & fro to the fair grounds. To explore Milan city, the best option is to catch a taxi, as trains are sort of confusing. So its the best for trade fair visitors. But if you are a tourist or just want to explore Milan city, please get some other hotel in or near the city center. The WiFi is free, but the speed is OK.

During 12days europe tour, both me and my wife agreed that this is the best hotel among all hotels we stayed. excellent facilities in the room with kettle, clean & big room. most important with free WIFI :)
only stayed one night can't really comment on the location, thought it was quite far away from town.

The hotel is simply superb. Spotless rooms -with possibility of making coffee and tea inside - incredible spa and breakfast that includes everything, even special stand for diabetics. The hotel shuttle takes you to and from the nearest Metro station (Certosa), and from where you need 10-15 minutes to the city center. It is highly recommended!!!!!!

We stayed here as it was advertised at a discounted rate, 130€ for two nights including breakfast. Not bad at all for a 4 star hotel in an expensive city just a few days before Christmas. The hotel is well appointed with bar, gym, spa and swimming pool. There is also free wifi for guests.

The staff are very helpful and welcoming and the rooms well portioned, spotless clean and modern. The beds are extremely comfortable and I had excellent sleep during my stay. The housekeeping team are a little enthusiastic though, so 9am they are hoovering outside your room regardless of the 'do not disturb' sign! The bathroom has a powerful walk in shower with both overhead and handheld heads in the en-suite and lovely basic toiletries.

The breakfast is well thought out and has dedicated sugar free corner for diabetics and a gluten free area for coeliacs. The 'fresh' fruit and salad wasn't always that fresh though on our visit.

The in-house bar had friendly staff but the pizza was a shocking effort, swimming in cheese and microwaved. The worst we have ever seen in numerous trips around Italy.

The hotel is situated well out of town, but does operate a shuttle bus service free of charge from a local station. But the metro to get to the station closed at 9pm during our visit and it was a 25€ taxi ride back to the hotel from the Duomo area.

All in all a great stay, just a shame about the location.

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors can have a distant view of the Alps. Ask for 612 or 614 or similar on each fl...
