Description: The idea is to apply the common principle of the world’s best restaurants to the production of gelato: the buying of the absolute highest-quality raw materials. We have pursued this goal since 2002 by rigorously researching the best products the agricultural world has to offer: only fresh fruit from the best consortium in Italy and from our own organic farm Mura Mura®; no addition of artificial colorings, aromas, preservatives or emulsifiers. This is how gelato “like it use to be made” was born: gelato with high-quality fresh milk and cage-free eggs; sorbets with 50% fruit, water from Sparea® Springs and white cane sugar.

“Natural ice cream”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

GROM is a good ice cream shop and a very intelligent commercial operation. You can find it in at least seven locations in Milano. The ice cream is good, made of natural ingredients, fruits, nuts or coffee, often imported from overseas. Of course, you don't need to look too far for a good ice cream in Italy. This is the country that knows how to produce the best "gelatti" in the world.

“Give it a shot!”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

We went to the Corso Buenos Aires branch, where there was always a line out the door! The gelato isnt it any "open" containers so it was a bit hard for us to decide what to have. Some flavours arent written in English either. We have had better gelato in Italy, but some flavours are worth trying -- we liked Raspberry and Chocolate.

“The wife would live here”
Reviewed 15 January 2014

I was sceptical about these Grom places. Didn't like the name or the idea of a chain.
However, these are probably the best ice creams we've had in Italy, therefore the world.
Wifey, an expert when it comes to desserts, was mad for this place and kept wanting to go back. A week after being here we walked past one in another city and she dragged us in.

Staff all seem to speak English. Just as well as I didn't understand their rather silly and pointless ticket system.

The flavours are incredible. Nocciola and pistachio out particular favourites.

We make sure we only get ice creams from gelaterias with the 'authentically-made' signs on them so are used to really good quality ice cream, but this was exceptional.

Definitely give Grom a try.

Tried it first from a branch at Sienna and had to go back for more when I was in Milan! The texture and sweetness level suit my personal preference and leave me graving more...Like the extra Dark Chocolate, Pistachio, Pear, Apple and Lemon flavour ones!
