“Small but Comfortable hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 December 2013

Hotel is in a very good location, close to shopping area.

We paid 30 euros extra a night for a bigger room with an extra bed. It was very reasonable. We had a room with a balcony facing the busy shopping area but it wasn't noisy. Staffs are helpful and friendly.

We would stay here again.

Don't come here expecting the lap of luxury or a beautiful lobby...you'd be disappointed. What you will get however, is a small hotel in the perfect location. The rooms are really clean and they have an excellent rain shower. The internet is strong, but they charge daily for it. They'll give you a deal if you stay for a few nights. We opted out of their breakfast service. It was rather expensive, and frankly, there are so many wonderful coffee places right out side the door of the hotel...well you get the picture. One complaint though...the walls both from the room to hallway, as well as the room above, are very thin. You hear people walking above you, you hear your neighbors opening and closing their doors at all hours.

The staff extremely friendly and eager to help. We did our own restaurant research, but I'm sure they would point you in a good direction should you need help.

All in all, it was a very pleasant stay here. I would be happy to stay here again.

Room Tip: We first had an outside room, but as soon as we heard the tram go by (even though they have double c...

This hotel is 50 metres from the Duomo Piazza & within spitting distance of all the major shopping areas & the top fashion shops as well as La Scala. The hotel is perfect in every way, the staff obliging & friendly, with the only downside being no breakfast area. There is no option but to eat in one of the local cafés, but this is not a problem as you are surrounded by any number of options.
The room we had was perfect with a large bathroom & all possible convenience. We will definitely return if we venture back to Milan.

Room Tip: They are all good.

After a long flight from New York with someone's 2 year old child crying and screaming for 6 hours, my wife and I were so relieved to hear the staff member at the front desk say " your room is ready". At 10AM. Thank God!!!! Music to our ears.
Not only that, but the staff was so gracious in welcoming us, offering us water, coffee, juice, and sandwiches.
The room was spacious, lovely, quiet and spotless.
Everytime we entered or left UNA Maison we were greeted like family. They helped us with all our travel needs, including train schedules and directions.
We would certainly recommend this hotel, and would love to return there.

Room Tip: Choose the Executive room with front balcony.

The hotel is located just couple of steps of the corner of the Piazza de Duomo. The rooms are nice, good equipped, but the best thing about this hotel is the service. Nothing seems to be a problem. :-)
The breakfast is great with a lot of options. We have been to Milano many times before, stayed in hotels like Straf, Bulgari, but from now on, we have found our hotel in this great city.

Small unassuming hotel situated around the Piazza del Duomo and La Ricacente shopping mall..also zara, benetton and more designer shops..restaurants,etc...On arrival I was not initially impressed by the lobby. However, once settled in,I realized that in fact it was a great choice...The room was spacious with a balcony. The central tramline was almost directly outside the hotel....The staff were extremely friendly and helpful..The room and linen were spotlessly clean as was the bathroom.
All in all,I would recommend this hotel and stay there again....Reasonably priced for Europe..

Room Tip: If possible a junior suite with a balcony...However,since one is out all day it is not really import...

Lovely hotel, very quiet even though on a busy street with The Duomo being 50yds around the corner. We rarely saw any other guests throughout our 4 days. Easy access to many places of interest. Bathroom huge with hot water at all times. Sitting area lovely to use whilst having breakfast. You even have the offer of 4 different types of pillow which I did request another pillow which made a big difference to me. All the staff were very helpful. The breakfast served in your bedroom was superb. I did find the reception area not very welcoming, you have to study the back of a computer monitor whilst the staff help you. In saying that the staff were superb and very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who goes to Milan for a city break.
