We spent 2 nights at Una Maison Milano in December and found it great value for money!

(1) Location: one of the best in town. The Duomo is virtually steps away, and the hotels is surrounded by excellent shopping streets. Peck - the Milanese gourmet food shop - is just around the corner. The metro station and tram stops are also 3 mins walk. It took us about 25 min to walk (leisurely) to the Santa Maria delle Grazie church to see the Last Supper. In fact, the hotel's central location means that we could easily walk to everywhere! We took a taxi from Cardorna Station to the hotel, which costed around 10 Euro, and it was about 15 Euro from the hotel to Milano Centrale Station.

(2) Room: spacious, clean, modern, and well designed. Although it's not of five-star luxury, the room has everything you need including a tea/coffee maker, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, and safe. We booked a Superior Room but were upgraded to a Junior Suite, and the room looks exactly the same as the pictures on the hotel's web site. All windows are double glazed, meaning that you can't hear any noise from the street (and we are light sleepers)! The bathroom is spotless and huge, with separate shower and bath. The room also has a small sitting area and a work desk. The internet is not free, though.

(3) Service: excellent - all staff are friendly, welcoming, polite, helpful, always smiley, and knowledgeable about local areas. No question is ever too much for them, and they are all very eager to help. All of the front desk staff speak good English. As soon as we arrived at the hotel (early Saturday morning), we were ushered to the little sitting area next to the front desk where pastries and coffee were served. The complimentary candies and lollies offered to guests at the lobby are also a nice touch. Compared to other hotels I've stayed in Milan, service at this hotel is by far the best!

(4) Hotel in general: the hotel feels more like a private residence than a grand hotel, so there isn't a "lobby" per se. If you are looking for hotel with a grand lobby, a bar, and an a la carte restaurant, you would be better off to go somewhere else. But if you like a boutique style hotel with genuine staff and comfortable, contemporary and well-equipped accommodation, then stay here. To be honest, to us it doesn't matter if there is lobby or bar or restaurant in the hotel, because we spent most of our time wondering around this fantastic city and dining at one of the fabulous local restaurants.

Highly recommended, and we will definitely return.

Thank you very much for making our stay in Milan so memorable! Franceso and Dianelle were amazing in their service. We arrived in Milan without having specific travel plans, our spontaneous requests were met with much enthusiasm. We wanted to ski and road tripping to San Simone for a ski trip was recommended by them and it was very lovely. Also the pizza across the road, Dogama, was delicious, as recommended by them. They provided us with a card from UNA for a discount on the pizzas too. Lovely. And very good location, just outside the railway station. With the magnificient Duomo just outside our hotel. I also love the white color theme throughout the hotel. Makes the place feel clean. And also they extended a free upgrade as we were on our Honeymoon. A very sweet touch. Size of the room was very comfortable. The only drawback would be the breakfast which could only be served in the rooms and was lacking in quality. And the wifi which was not free.

Great small hotel just around the corner from the Duomo. The young staff is very friendly and gave excellent restaurant recommendations. You are not a number in this hotel, but get great service. Certainly book in advance the in room breakfast! I'll be back when in Milan!

Superb stay! Superb hotel! If you wish to visit Milano, see the key sigh-seeings, enjoy the nice restaurants, have a bit of good shopping - this small hotel with spacious rooms is just for you, my friends! Nice design! Location: next door to the Milano heart, Duomo! Everything is within a walking distance - we even did not need to use a tram or metro to get around the city. By the way, the tram ways and station is just next to the entrance of the hotel, but, there is NO noise - great sound-proof / insulations in rooms. We had relaxed quiet nights!
Great room facilities such as king-size bed (means king-size comfortable bed with two types of pillows (!)), flat TV, electrical tea pot, plenty of towels, light/AC/do not disturb/ON-OFF remote control bar near the bed and various bathroom amentities (bath salts, nail enamel remover, tooth brush with tiny tooth paste, hand cream and many other nice small things which loosy travelers love to pick)!
The hotel does not have a parking, business center, spa, bar and fitness center - BUT, we did not look for a big fancy complex hotel to stay inside. If you are in Milan, you will most probably be out of hotel all day and come back for a small relaxation and sleep to be fresh for next day, isn't it??!! Plus, there are great cafes just across the street to have croussant and coffee for breakfast; two good parking areas underground and on the street are within 2 min drive from hotel; couple of beauty salons and Europcar office is just around the corner; Great shops and stores on this and the next street; Wi-Fi is not free, but who cares if you in Milan center?!
Great staff - polite, smiling and helpful!! We had everything we asked for.
Definetely we will come back! Wish to visit Milan? Stay at UNA Maison! Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Una Maison for 3 nights. Overall experience was pleasant. Fantastic location. Professional and friendly hotel staff. Room was spacious by European standards.

However, housekeeping standards could be improved. Our room was cleaned rather late in the day. The conditioner and complimentary coffee were not replenished. But they were quick to do so when we asked them.

Perhaps it may be better to get a room not facing the street as there is noise from the trams and buses plying the street.

Lastly, the candies by the entrance were yummy:)
