We have booked this hotel for 4 nights and we were very surprised. At the beginning the neighborhood does not seem to be good, however, it wound up being the best choice -- specially if you are travelling by car. Here is the overall review:

Pros:
- Fantastic spacious rooms -- comfortable bed, excellent design and enormous bathroom (with different spots for both hot tub and shower);
- Excellent staff (speak good english and they were helpful all the time);
- Good parking lot (spacious)
- Nice restaurants in the same street (Via Varesina) -- check out L'immagine Ristorante.

Cons:
- Bad neighborhood (noisy street during the day)
- Far away from the old town centre

I definitely recommend you to stay in this hotel -- at least by now as they still have a nice cost/benefit ratio.

Room Tip: Superior Rooms (upper floors) seems to be quieter than those in the lower floor.

We had a great time at the Milan Suite Hotel. The rooms were lovely- very spacious indeed, with a super kingsized bed, sofa and four person table. There were enough facilities to make a light meal- microwave, coffee machine (replenished daily, enough for 6 espressos), fridge, cupboard space. These could be sectioned off from the main bedroom.

The bathroom was gorgeous- the best we've seen in a 4 star hotel. The bath was enormous, the separate shower was luxurious and powerful, and we were given complimentary toiletries daily.

The staff were excellent- always friendly and helpful (helping us find/ providing us with the many items we'd forgotten to bring!).

The hotel is also located just a couple of minutes away from L'Imaggine bistro- a charming little restaurant we visited twice on our four day trip.

The location is just fine- about a minute's walk from a bus stop that is served approx every 7 minutes, and goes right into the centre (Castello).

Great trip. Will stay here again if we return to Milan.

My daughter and I stayed at Milan Suite Hotel for 3 days a week before Christmas. At first I was booked in a different hotel which was also four-star but much cheaper, but I finally chose this hotel for its room size and it didn't disappoint. The room was very big with modern furnishing, and the bathroom was huge (probably 8-9 sqm) with separate shower and bath.

Service: Reception was very friendly and helpful. My luggage didn't make my same flight so reception helped me call BA to make sure my luaggae was planned to be delivered on the same day. They also helped me print out boarding passes for my next flight and gave me good directions to the city. Before I arrived, I wrote them about the possibility of checking in early, and they speedily replied that it was ok (as early as 9.30am!) since the hotel wasn't fully booked. Housekeeping was slightly less satisfactory though. The beds were made and towels replaced, but the floor didn't seem to be vaccumed or sweeped daily. In addition, the ceiling directly above the door to our room was missing a panel. It was missing when we first walked in to our room and was still there when we checked out.

Facilities: The big LCD TV has many Sky channels and many allows us the choice of languages which was a real blessing. There was a coffee machine, a microwave and fridge. What the room really needs are some plates and cutlery. We could only find two mugs and 4 glasses. Some small details didn't quite work, like a floor lamp wasn't functioning, and a sliding door was somewhat stuck. The beds were comfortable with good down duvets. The couch and coffee table in front of the TV were very handy and comfy.

Food: Breakfast offers a nice variety at very good quality. Hot plates include bacon, mini sausage and scrambled egg. Many kinds of cereals, pastries and fresh fruit were available as well as some cold cuts. Every evening there was a small spread of treats near the reception; sometimes it was coffee/tea, biscuits and fruit, and other times it may be wine/champagne and cheese. Very nice indeed.

Transportation: The hotel is not near city center. We live by Bus 57 which takes us from the hotel front door to the Duomo area in 25-35 min depending on traffic. The bus was frequent at intervals of 6-10 min. There are other public transportation nearby which we didn't use. We didn't find the commute inconvenient.

Our overall experience was very very good. We haven't stayed at other hotels in Milan so couldn't really compare. But for the price we paid, we could safely say that it's very hard to beat. I would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

During my last stay in Milan I stayed at the Hotel Delizia. This hotel can run circles around it. The rooms are large and comfortable. Wi-Fi was a little slow but always worked. There was a larger\ shower and a huge soaking tub for two.The breakfast was adequate and included in the price of the room from booking.com. I paid 83 euro a night. Finally, the hotel is about 50M away from the tram to the city center. I love this hotel!

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. Everything about the room was great; comfy bed, great shower and bath, and great sitting area. Breakfast was not included in our room rate, but was not expensive and perfectly adequate. There is also a supermarket just down the road if you need anything extra. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel, however there is a Radission Blu just round the corner & a lovely Sardinian restaurant a couple of blocks away. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful. They helped us with directions on how to get into the city centre, about 20 minutes by tram. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Milan

I went to Milan for a short weekend with my boyfriend to get a preview of the city as I'm moving there in February 2013 for Uni. The weather was grey and cold and after a day walking and visiting, we arrived very tired in the room and it was really nice to find this wide room with a king size super comfortable bed and well as the tub with very hot water.
