“nice if you get a good deal”
Reviewed 5 November 2012

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night while visiting Milan for business. The room was quite big and the bed comfortable. Toilet was big and amenities basic (no slippers offered). There are coffee making facilities. Internet is free, fast and stable. The balcony ovelooked a green park. The location is OK, in a reisdential area with very few people walking around after sunset and about 500m from Turro metro station. There is a discount super market next to the hotel. Breakfast didn't offer big variety but was just OK and the quality was good. I paid 90 Euros which is a fair price for this hotel.

You either hate it, or love it, either it's extremely modern or a 60's monstrosity in the overall look of the hotel. To my mind it looked like a dated block of sprawling flats, however my daughter thought it was quite trendy!

Fair sized bedroom, very clean and tidy, added benefit of Tea/coffee making facilities, balcony (no furniture) overlooking residential blocks of flats and the rubbish collection site. To my mind the hotel is located in rather an unusual position being in the heart of a dense residential area, there is a supermarked across the road, closed on sundays, so not the best of outlooks on the front and sides of the hotel, however at the back is a pleasant and very neat garden.

The bathroom and extremely clean with a bidet,( for those who feel the need) and a very good shower.

Breakfast was ample lots of choice with cereals, various breads, pastries, fruits of different kinds, a choice of beverages. However to an English palate the hot food was (each morning) a huge slabs of scrambled eggs, streaky bacon offered with vegetables, one morning green French beans and the next steamed Cauliflower!

There is a Spa and Brasserie, which was closed, but the restaurant looked inviting as did the Menu.

From the Duomo the hotel is 8 stops away at Turro, the metro stop is around 5 minutes walk rom the hotel, therefore this would not be my first choice of hotel when visiting Milan, overall a clean and tidy hotel, good facilities, very helpful and pleasant staff.............just the location that lets it down.

Room Tip: Back of hotel no sight or small of rubbish tip.

We stayed there during July 2012.
The room was lovely, spacious and clean. The staff was very professional and helpful.
The breakfast was very good.
The room had a balcony but we could not use it due to the smell coming from a large recycling facility in the next corner...
On Wednesday that we arrived, there was a fruit and vegetable market next to the hotel.
The metro is a 5 minute walk.
We used the parking. There was little help from the staff concerning this part. There seemed to be an underground parking but we didn't figure out how to use it and whether it belonged to the hotel or not. We parked inside the hotel premises but in an outdoor parking space.
Also the free wi-fi was not that clear... We had to ask how to use it the next day of our arrival, when they informed us that we needed a code to access it, which took about 10 minutes to obtain via reception...

Room Tip: We used the hotel's booking site and every question was answered promptly while they met every d...

Had a 3 night stay here, in mid October while, the hotel itself is set away from the city centre, but was only a 10Euro taxi trip from centrale Station, and a 5min walk to the Metro Station 'Turro'. The hotel itself was very modern and clean. The room we had was Massive had a big king-size bed, walk in wardrobe and massive shower, and a Massive balcony with double sliding doors. We had a room in Tower C, on the 3rd floor which overlooked the gardens. Breakfast was good in the mornings, a large selection of fresh meats / cheeses / breads / fruits and bacon and eggs. and fantastic coffee and fresh juices. Unfortunately never ate at night in the resteraunt as we ate out in town, similarly we did not get to use the SPA as it was being re-furbished while, we were there, this was a dismantlement, as we had looked to use the facilities while we were there.

Overall a Good Hotel.

Need to Factor in the Cost of The Citys TAX per night which is not included when you book, we were an extra 8Euro a night

The directions to go to the hotel from other site was rubbish. Took milan express train to central station and then walked out to subway. Train from malpensa is 20 euros return per person. Subway was 4 euros for the day. The hotel was actually relatively easy to get to from Turro subway station. There is a lovely gelateria as you come out of the subway which means you are on the right side of the street to get to the hotel. You simply walk along the side street. Gelateria should be on the main road on your right and you take the corner on your left. The road then forks off, take the left hand fork. You go pass a shop that sells hats I think with a pink signeage and it's literally at the end of that road on your right.

Turro is seven stops away from duomo which is where it all happens. You can also get off at San babila where high street shops are located.

The hotel itself was modern and the room was lovely for a standard bedroom. Price was reasonable with breakfast. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of patisseries, bread and some bacon and scrambled eggs that actually looked like scrambled eggs rather than pale yellow mush.

The only complaint was I called reception to help me figure out how to work the air condition and they said they will send someone...no one came and we were going out already so I could not be bothered to sort it again. The following day...called reception to ask for an iron and ironing board...they said they will send someone. Went for breakfast, time to check out. No sign of iron or ironing board.

Would stay in this hotel again. Might have to just keep reminding them to actually send someone when they say they would.

Lovely break in Milan but would probably not come back for a while. Flew to rome from Milan and very straightforward as well.

Booked for 4 nights. Arrived late on Tuesday night, and got upgraded a executive suite! Room was huge with massive balcony, walk in wardrobe, big shower with all the amenites that you can need. The breakfast is gorgeous with all that anyone could want. The hotel is in a handy location just 5 minutes walk from Turro on the red line M1. Would book here again without a shadow of doubt.
