“Prim, proper but no personality”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

Clean, shiny, new, nice staff, lack of character, next to construction site, good breakfast.
If you are looking for a mid-priced safe haven away from the centre, this is it. But choose a weekend.
On a dog-poo lined street near to a station (and 15 mins walk through mad-max-like industrial desert-lands from Bovisa - Malpensa), the Acca stands alone amongst the tenament housing blocks of Dergano, the newest neighbour block giving the teeth grinding sound of angle grinding at 7.30am (to date). As with all such areas, where the buildings lack class - the people make up for it. A real nice quiet community around it seems. And safe.
The Acca has a great breakfast and really nice staff but has rooms lacking in personality. Designed for practicality and making money - the Acca is safe and very adequate. A bit like astroturf for football. A bit of nature here and there would go a long way. I suggest plants in rooms and some nice pictures for starters. Cleaners deserve an award.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side face the construction site

We had a really good time in Milan and Acca Palace is a nice and quiet hotel. You can go to the downtown by underground and the nearest station is about 5 minutes walking from the hotel.
The hotel staff is helpful and they were really kind with us. I recommend this hotel for everyone. Greetings from Hungary.

Room Tip: The rooms looked the same for me. They are big and quiet.

We stayed in this hotel for one night on our way through to Verona.

The hotel is located outside of the city however it is very easy to catch the metro (€1.50) from the station close by.

The hotel is very clean and spacious and the staff are super friendly.

The drawback of this hotel is the food options if you want to eat close by. We found a little pizzeria across the road that we ate in which was fine but it is very limited.

Overall a good hotel but location was a little too far for us in reality.

Good room, clean, comfortable and continental breakfast including a kind and helpful staff.
Altrough is not in the city center the tube station is near and after 10 minutes by train you can find the most important actractions.

This was a good and clean hotel. Room and bath size were very good. Nice breakfast available and helpful staff. The hotel is within 5 minutes of Affori Centro metro tube which takes you straight into town for site seeing. Metro tube tickets are not expensive, 1.5EUR one way and the journey into the centre of town will be about 15-20 minutes. There is a large supermarket near the hotel, which is good to stock up on for snacks and water.
There is a lovely little restaurant near the hotel called Al Paradiso (Affori Centro Metro station side) which is good if you arrive early evening for a spot of dinner.
An all round good hotel, close enough to get into the centre of Milan without any trouble.

Overall experience in the Acca Palace Hotel Milan was very good. The hotel had a big room for our family of four. Breakfast was good. Its location was accessible to the Metro and a big supermarket. It was also nice to have a Filipino in the staff of the hotel whom we could ask tips from.
