“THE place to eat gelato!”
Reviewed 4 September 2013

We chose this restaurant as a lunch venue on our first day in milan (it was recommended to us by our hotel for its gelato - we thought we'd grab a bit to eat before indulging in dessert!). We ordered a four cheese pizza, peach iced tea and sparkling water. We were shocked at the large amount of cheese on the pizza - and removed a lot of it to make the pizza edible - it seems this is how the milanese make pizza! We were also charged 7Euros for the peach iced tea! Which is ridiculous as you can buy it elsewhere for 1.50-2.50 Euros! Needless to say, we never stopped for a meal here again.

However, the gelato is on a totally different level! It was the best gelato place in Milan! Some of the staff were not too pleased that we were trying the flavours before buying, but we didn't really want heaps of the stuff if it wasn't to our taste. The lime, blueberry and chocolate are our favourites. We frequented this place twice a day during our stay in MIlan. Remember to pay for the gelato before ordering it. Tip: If you go in the late-evening, post-9.30pm, you are likely to get larger scoops than in the daytime - though some flavours may be finished or nearly-finished.

It's located quite close to the Duomo and I would highly recommend everyone in the area to visit it for its gelato!

“So rude....”
Reviewed 14 August 2013

As a party of seven (led by an Italian, so language was no problem), we had a stop for an ice cream as the place was well rated in one of our guides.
Bad experience, beginning with a very rude lady cashier and an overworked personal.
Of course yesterday was a very hot day but I had the same impression 3 years ago.
The ice-cream price (take-away, served on the spot is expensive) was reasonable for the spot.
There taste was from very good to quite common or sugary only.

“The food was terrible”
Reviewed 10 August 2013

The food was terrible. They serve premade industrial food. The food was cold inside and when we complained they heated it pribably with microwave. The waiter was very nice

“Not bad for a quick snack”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

Located in the city centre close to the duomo. Been there whilst shopping in the area. We were as a group of 10. Quite expensive for a pizza and a cola, staff were not that friendly either. Worth it if you're having a coffee at the bar because prices are almost half price that way. Pastries and ice creams looked good I must say, inside was very busy. Good for having a quick snack, average for eating good. Average price Euro 22 p/p

Located in the city center, it's one of the most famous ice cream shops in Milan. It's rather famous and always crowded. Despite having been here many times, I still haven't understood what's so special about it. Overrated.
