Shopping around the duomo is just not fun for me. It's just too crowded with a lot of high end stores. I wanted to go to a mall and the desk clerk talked me into this street instead. I'm glad I did. Plenty of shops for shoes, purses, clothes, cosmetics ... at all prices. No street hackers pushing strings in my face. Great day!

A fabulous street to shop! There is a burger king and also McDonalds is way down the bottom end and around the corner. Wonderful retail shopping! heaps of shoe shops that are NOT expensive, with boots and shoes to die for, girls! Clothing stores galore including H@M, Fossil, Beneton too many to name. I went two days in a row and finished up with blisters on the soles of my feet!!!...but enjoyed every minute of it. There is a wonderful deli there also, which is worth a visit just to see inside, . If you go on a Sunday morning the shops do not open until 10 or 11am.

If you cant afford the luxury shops around Duomo, go to Corso Buenos Aires, where you can find most of street shops but dont expect to find any bargains.

Buenos Aires is a long street with shops and cafes on both sides. It is good for a stroll while enjoying Milan architecture and you can find some good deals.

Lots of design shops as well as lower cost shops (United Color of Beneton, Motivi, Promod etc) . Desigual has a wonderful shop with beautiful colored clothes not too inexpensive, but not so expensive. Also you can find a very nice shop for very well designed shirts ....
