“Warm wellcome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 November 2011

I have been many times to the Four Seasons Milano and since it's opening I have stayed here with great pleasure. Both front desk, the concierge and the people who open up the door of your taxi are both wellcoming and extremely professional. Further more I really like the beds!

One of the reasons we go to Milano! Have stayed there over the years and it's always the same excellent service and comfortable stay.

Room Tip: I've stayed on the street side and on the inner court. All rooms are very quiet

My husband and I were there for four days from the 7th to the 11th of November. We loved the hotel. Everything from comfort to service and location was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful overlooking a lovely courtyard. Dinner at the restaurant and dessert from the chocolate room was a memorable experience. I would definitely choose this hotel when returning again to Milan.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the courtyard are lovely.

Amazing hotel, amazing staff. Would recommend this Four Seasons to anyone considering a trip to Milan, Italy. The facility is wonderful, and has a rich history. It's located in a perfect place for those who love to shop the designer stores in Milan. The staff make you feel like family, and go out of there way to make certain your stay is memorable.

My sister and I traveled to Italy and had the most wonderful experience when staying at The Four Seasons in Milan, Italy. The Hotel is GORGEOUS! The rooms are lovely and the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The Staff is courteous and go out of their way to make your stay a wonderful experience. Don't even consider staying anywhere else when you are in Milan!

The hotel sits in one of the nicest areas of the city. Tucked away in the midst of some of the finest shops in the world. The service could not be better. Special thanks to Davide who works in the restaurant and was a highlight to our visit (you are an amazing, kind, special person) our daughter loved you as did we.
The concierge service is spot on...the word "no" is not in their vocabulary....great service. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite from the front desk...very lovely. I am shocked by some of the reviews that say this hotel is confusing and too large...Did not find that at all once we learned the layout. In fact it is kind of cozy. We slept in late on our second day to catch up on sleep so we did lunch instead of breakfast....it was one of our most memorable meals of our entire 3 week stay in Italy. It was so much fun to see people do the 3 hour lunch with all the leisure in the world, sipping wine and going from course to course with no hurry at all. We did the same and loved every minute of it. The food was delicious. Great coffee. Had a great baby sitter 2 nights that the hotel recommended. A trip to the Bvlgari Hotel for cocktails one night was fun....great bar! It was fashion week and most of our first pick restaurants were booked so I can't say we found the best places to eat. I think the Four Seasons would have been better than the ones we found. The hotel sits in easy access to subway and also to some of the best gelato cafes in the world! The Duomo is a very short walk away as is a beautiful park. The train station is just minutes away by cab. Great hotel...thank you.

We had very nice rooms, looking into the courtyard. The room service for breakfast was good. We got good info from the concierge. All in all, a very nice Four Seasons.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Right in the heart of Milan's most beautiful inner city quarter, the Four Seasons Hotel Milano is just steps from Milan’s famed designer boutiques and magnificent Duomo cathedral. An easy chic feel presides of the hotel's lobby and Il Foyer’s intimate bar and lounge, serving cocktails created by the bar's resident Mixologist. The scene at Il Foyer is framed by granite pillars that once supported the church of a 15th century convent, and the space flows into restaurant La Veranda, specialising in unique award-winning Italian cuisine as well as international delicacies. Tables in the restaurant look onto a meditative view of an exquisite cloistered courtyard. The Hotel offers guests other surprising experiences from a seasonal Chocolate Room created entirely in chocolate to a theme; a Chef’s Table, traditional Milanese aperitivo and cooking classes inside the restaurant’s fabled kitchen, and one of the city’s most creative banquet catering teams. Fragments of frescoes, a beautiful emblem of the building’s sanctified past, create a meditative backdrop for the Hotel's relaxed elegant interiors interspersed with classic architectural flourishes. The Hotel’s 118 rooms and suites are appointed with distinguished diverse designs and offer views over the property’s tranquil manicured inner courtyards, the exclusive street of Via Gesù and typical neoclassical Milanese rooftops or neighbouring quiet private gardens. The Hotel’s newly designed Spa, a warm and tranquil space, fluidly constructed by Patricia Urquoila within the building’s historical architecture offers therapeutic treatments using the finest skincare products as well as a Turkish bath, swimming pool, one-of-a-kind Spa Suite and a 24-hour Fitness Centre. ... more   less
