Stayed in the Four Seasons as part of a weekend for the Formula One race at Monza. The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting the highlights of Milan. The hotel has a small, exclusive feel to it. The staff are friendly and provide a high level of service. Not all the rooms are large. I had a room on the ground floor which was rather gloomy as it faced an internal corridor. The room itself was fitted out to a very high standard, as you would expect from a Four Seasons hotel. Internet access was expensive, but available from the hotel room. The food was good and the wine list reasonably priced.

Stayed in the Four Seasons in Milan for a long weekend. Very convenient location near all the high-end shops. Excellent and very spacious suite (though it came at a price!). Service was good as you'd expect from Four Seasons. We haven't tried the restaurants but the (room service) breakfast was good and the drinks in the lobby bar too. Overall a very nice hotel but one of the most expensive I can recall staying at.

we payed a lot for 2 nights in the four seasons in milan. they dont have a lot of rooms so they are suposed to give better service and accomodate requests. the first night we had a lot of noise in the corridors. guests or employees? i dont know but we couldnt sleep well. to pay over 1000 euros and not be able to sleep not very nice no? the next night, we had someone knocking at our door in the middle of night for room service. room as small and bathrooms smell chemical products very strong.
besides that, location is great and service impecable but will not go back. will try the ritz carlton next time sorry.

My sister, her two year old son, and I accompanied my parents to Milan and Lake Como (see separate review) on their 40th wedding anniversary. Our stay at the Four Seasons in Milan was probably the most perfect stay I've ever experienced at a city hotel.

The room my sister and I shared with her son was expansive and luxuriously comfortable, decorated in plush, soothing creams and neutrals. The bed was blissfully comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were Aqua de Parma, a lovely touch!

The lobby bar at the Four Seasons in Milan was both elegant and inviting. People constantly milled in and out, meeting friends for hors d'oevres and drinks but it is a testament to the staff that the flow never felt crowded or traffic-y, rather it had a relaxed and convivial vibe. In fact, we enjoyed the comforts and food of the lobby bar so much, it took a lot of persuasion to get me and my mother to actually get up and go out to dinner at night!

But the thing that consistently sets Four Seasons properties apart from other hotels is their unfailingly excellent, intuitive service. When we arrived, in the room waiting for my nephew was a tiny bathrobe and slippers. Every evening, the bellman would greet him by name, and bestow a new little gift (toy truck or duck) upon him. One particular night, while nephew and I waited for my parents and sister in the lobby, the pianist began playing "When You Wish Upon a Star," then segued into a medley of classic children lullabies. Listening to that music under the amber light at dusk, I know it sounds silly in recounting it--but it was just magical. I look forward to returning to the Four Seasons the next time I visit Milan.

The Four Seasons Milan is a seasoned, polished, professional & beautiful property. The location is excellent yet it is a calm oasis inside. The beautiful courtyard with its quiet & beautiful views makes you forget you are in noisy, grey milan.

Even the basic rooms are large in this hotel. My room, a junior suite had a ceiling more beautiful than any museum. It was large with murano lamps and comfortable high quality furniture.

The large bathroom contained my favorite shower of any hotel. I had this same shower in previous smaller rooms, It was large, oval shaped with green mosaic tiles.

I fell in the middle of the street in front of La Scalla in the dark. The police picked me up and asked if i wanted to go to the hospital. I said just take me back to the Four Seasons!

The lobby bar is a wonderful place to sit and watch people. The beautiful details and exceptional quality throughout the hotel are amazing.

This was my second stay at this hotel. Location, service, cleanliness, attention to detail...I could not find one single negative thing to say about this property. The only thing I remembered from my first visit (Mar. 2006)) that I didn't like was the lack of a spa. Well, during my last visit construction was being done to introduce the much needed spa. If you are prepared to be treated like royalty, head straight to the Four Seasons, Milan.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Right in the heart of Milan's most beautiful inner city quarter, the Four Seasons Hotel Milano is just steps from Milan’s famed designer boutiques and magnificent Duomo cathedral. An easy chic feel presides of the hotel's lobby and Il Foyer’s intimate bar and lounge, serving cocktails created by the bar's resident Mixologist. The scene at Il Foyer is framed by granite pillars that once supported the church of a 15th century convent, and the space flows into restaurant La Veranda, specialising in unique award-winning Italian cuisine as well as international delicacies. Tables in the restaurant look onto a meditative view of an exquisite cloistered courtyard. The Hotel offers guests other surprising experiences from a seasonal Chocolate Room created entirely in chocolate to a theme; a Chef’s Table, traditional Milanese aperitivo and cooking classes inside the restaurant’s fabled kitchen, and one of the city’s most creative banquet catering teams. Fragments of frescoes, a beautiful emblem of the building’s sanctified past, create a meditative backdrop for the Hotel's relaxed elegant interiors interspersed with classic architectural flourishes. The Hotel’s 118 rooms and suites are appointed with distinguished diverse designs and offer views over the property’s tranquil manicured inner courtyards, the exclusive street of Via Gesù and typical neoclassical Milanese rooftops or neighbouring quiet private gardens. The Hotel’s newly designed Spa, a warm and tranquil space, fluidly constructed by Patricia Urquoila within the building’s historical architecture offers therapeutic treatments using the finest skincare products as well as a Turkish bath, swimming pool, one-of-a-kind Spa Suite and a 24-hour Fitness Centre. ... more   less
