A wonderful old hotel - huge room, high ceilings, a bathroom bigger than many hotel rooms I have stayed in. If it weren't for the excellent flat screen you could imagine that you are in a grand hotel in pre-Mussolini Milano. Excellent air-conditioning. Good desk for work with lots of outlets (and an ethernet as well as WiFi. Comfortable bed, competent internet (free in public rooms or for Starwood SPG), fluffy towels and bathrobes. The breakfast area/bar has a lovely outdoor garden. The bar is lively at midnight - and single malts are not more expensive than you would expect. The hotel is a block from the Porto Venezia Metro station, and about a twenty minute walk to the Duomo or the Brera. Downers: not good for wheelchairs - you have to climb 4 steps to the elevator; breakfast is OK (no omelets made to order, but good smoked salmon, fruit, and pastries), but exorbitant (39 euros) - there are lots of wonderful cafes close by if you want a less extravagant breakfast. We particularly like Ca' Puccino (note the pun) and Sale e Zucchero. Service attentive and friendly. A great place to stay in Milano.

Room Tip: garden rooms rather than street rooms.

We stayed for one night in Milan before flying out. The hotel staff was very nice. The hotel itself was a great price (I found a deal online) for the size of the rooms (large in my opinion by European standards) and location. We were about a 15 minute walk to the main shopping/historic area of Milan-- only 2 subway stops away and the subway is just outside the hotel--honestly though, the walk was easy and very nice.
The rooms are fine--just fine, but once again, a great value. If breakfast is included in your package, great--but I wouldn't pay extra for it. Across the street is a nice bakery with delicious choices. Parking on-site was 30 Euros--a perfectly fair price for city parking and the huge convenience that comes with it. There is a great bar scene at night---I think the happy hour is 7pm to 10pm and it looked like fun.

Dear Hricko8,
Thanks for sharing your experience with us! The Hotel is an historical building and this explains the spacious rooms available. Your explanation about the location could not have been better put, everything is easily reachable with the public transportation. Nevertheless if you want to stroll along the streets, there are beautiful walks and parks nearby, the most beautiful one, very close to the Hotel, being called Indro Montanelli.
We hope to have the chance to meet you again in the future! Best regards

Dear 286amyv,
thanks for your kind comment. We are happy you have appreciated the level of our service and, more importantly, our staff's devotion. Also, as you have noticed the location is wonderful with the city centre reachable with a beautiful 15 minute walk. Public transportation right outside of the Hotel also offers the chance to get any place you may need to reach.
We hope to see you again in the future.
Best regards

A classical Milanese luxurious hotel with good old fashioned standards. Breakfast in the garden amongst the gardenia shrubs and the ornamental pools is a delight. Only watch out is there are no in room ironing facilities as dictated by 'Italian' law.

Room Tip: rooms overlooking the garden terrace are quieter.

Dear Hammerschmidt,
Thanks for the comment and for the nice words regarding our beautiful breakfast set. During sping/summertime the Sheraton Diana Majestic’s guests are allowed to breakfast in our well-known garden which gives location to relaxing breakfasts in the morning as well as thrilling Milanese Aperitivos in the evening.
As you have written in your comment, Italian legislation forbids the use of the ironing facilities depending on the hotel fire classification, for security reasons. We have pressing service available on most part of the day at your disposal .Looking forward from welcoming you soon.
Best regards

2 glasses of wine £28.........dont eat or drink there unless you have deep pockets... most of outside area reserved for hours and no one using - asked to move by staff and tinsy bit off when we didnt... we only stayed 1 night and did enjoy it but it was not really in the best place... we got a train to the main bit...terraces and garden lovely and some of staff lovely and helpful...

Room Tip: did not see swimming pool etc as only 1 night... room a bit dark - no idea if they all are but probably best to be higher up and at the back...

Dear Theresa J,
Thanks for your positive review, especially for having defined the Sheraton Diana Majestic as a “Lovely Hotel”!
Milan aperitif is a must for locals as well as travellers. When you order a drink you are allowed to access an extensive buffet which varies from place to place. It is a good way to spend an evening out eating and drinking something with some friends. Our Aperitif is one of the best in town and 14 euros is an average price.
We are happy that you have appreciated our terraces, our inner garden and, of course, our staff!
We hope to have the chance to meet you again in the future.
Best regards
