This hotel is truly a gorgeous one, with stately, well maintained marble and a beautiful entryway and reception area. Hotel restaurants and bars are excellent, with superb service and excellent options. Hallways are beautiful and each room is individually and elegantly furnished. The location is not excellent however, and is not a very nice part of town. Also, the air conditioning was poor. However, everything else was excellent, and was a great experience.

From the minute our hire car drove into the hotel grounds, the special attention began. We were treated like royalty, our eight year old girl and ten year old boy given the same treatment. We had a trully wonderful three nights in a very big room that accomodated the four of us.The staff knew our name from the minute we walked into the magnificant foyer ,and no request was a problem. From organising our train tickets, advising us on tours, they were fantastic.Valentina ,one of the great staff was so helpful and delightful, our children still talk about her like they have known her for ages. The limosine shuttle to and from the centre was another service they provided complimentary, which made us feel like royalty. The breakfast restaurant was the most beautiful room i have ever had breakfast in.We just cant wait to go back again next year.We had an amazing stay and while we were there,we also saw royalty(the queen of Swaziland)staying at the hotel.Full marks,Bravo.

The stay was absolutely amazing. Service, quality are exactly what you will expect from a hotel of this stature. Worth every penny you would spend.

Impressed right from the very start. Beautiful hotel in every way - the decor, the plush room (upgraded on arrival as booked with the Leading Hotels of the World), free bottle of champagne and roasted parsnip chips waiting for us, widescreen tv, comfortable bed, fantastic large marbled bathroom (amazing shower) full of Acqua di Parma toiletries.. we felt like we were living like queens! Only negative point was that our room didn't have a view and looked directly onto another part of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious though we only made it up in time once as we were too busy partying at night and slept through the mornings. If staying at the Principe, you have to visit the bar almost next door to it with white leather sofas outside.. it seems to attract Milan's most beautiful people and is great for people watching (or flirtation if you like). Highly recommend this hotel.

The Principe was an amazing experience. I didn't explore fully all areas of the Hotel but the areas I did experience such as bedroom, restaurant and lounge was bliss.

The bedrooms - I stayed in the Mosaic category were gorgeous. Spacious, beautifully done mixing classic with modern pieces, huge bathrooms with Acqua Di Parma amenties and lush. The beds were super comfortable and the bathtub was fantastic!!

The service was wonderful. Staff were very friendly - not pretencious at all which is what it may appear to be from the outside. From check-in, to concierge to waitresses at breakfast, everyone was lovely and spot on. They even had a little table for us to rest our handbags on!

They have a complimentary limo services that drops you off at any point in Central Milan and has pickups at different times from different locations in and around Duomo and Via Del Spiga.

Overall a great experience and I would definitely go back!

Beautifully decorated with the best Italian finery. The curtain were a luxurious silk everywhere and the rooms are the ultimate in luxury. Also, very immaculate hotel. Great deal for the money and worth every penny. We were there when Madonna happened to be touring in Milan. The view from the rooftop at night is priceless!

I booked this luxury break for my husband as a birthday present and it was worth it! The complimentary (birthday) champaigne was waiting for us in the room...and the room was beyond any words! The staff was helpful and polite though they must have had some amusing moments watching us trying to adapt ourselves to this kind of luxury (one to mention: a little "chair" for a handbag -my not-a-luis-vuitton-handbag :-D ) But did we had fun doing that, we did indeed, don't remember laughing so much for a long time. The hotel was everything one could dream of and more with it's limousine service, interior and service. I can highly recommend it to anyone: for a romantic get-away, shopping trip or just relaxing...
