Having heard so much about La Scala I was expecting much more. First of all the outside of La Scala is not anything special, it looks like a regular building, I have seen much more nicer buildings of Operas in other Countries. Regarding the Museum that I have visited is not that big in fact is very small with various costumes, historic memorabilia, paintings, sculptures and musical instruments. The Opera theatre that I had the chance to see from the window was the best thing of my experience in La Scala Opera.

My partner and I went to see Swan Lake on Good Friday 2014. It was fantastic. The young stars Nicoletta Manni and Claudio Caviello had great chemistry and the famous Pas de Deux was mesmerising. Overall it was a real occasion and I would love to go again perhaps to see an opera next time.

Fabulous production last night, 18 April 2014. Nicolette Manni was magnificent as Odette. The Scala ballet company were very impressive. We left feeling moved and uplifted by the whole experience.

Opulent! We had a box seat right over the stage and were able to see and hear everything. The audience hung on every word and note. Stunning music and costume!
