“La Scala Opera – An Amazing Opera House”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

If you are lucky enough to reach this place during a special season, you can experience several concerts. The seating arrangements is quite unique in this concert hall ad you will amazed at the manner how it has been devised to allow people for viewing the stage at best possible manner.

“When in Milan - Top place to go!”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

Regardless if you a fan of the opera or ballet - you MUST visit this place and watch a performance. It's rich in culture and history and you can feel it while inside the theater. If you are watching a performance, it's not necessary to dress in gala - but at least something quite decent (no jeans, flip-flops, etc) like you're going for a nice meal in town. I was not fortunate to watch an opera performance instead there was ballet - which I enjoyed immensely. Highly recommended!

“Visited the museum”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

Got to view from the boxes at the back. Quite impressive. Toilets available. Museum was interesting but much better with a good guide, which we had. Busts of Wagner, Beethoven and some instruments but main character is Guiseppe - fascinating story.

“Mythical Opera House”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

We went to the Scala for a recital by Rolando Villazon. The concert was great and the accoustic of the venue is fabulous. However, we we a little surprise to see the seating inside the galerie stalls. Maybe it's commun but we had never seen it. There are chairs in the front but stools of various heights for the remainder of the seats in the back. It is for better view but very hard on the back for a long show.
