stark, empty, decadent buildings. all thst money can buy, apparently. but not love, not warmth. the hosts look like camp officers, in their grey tshirts. evertjing is stark, superrational, and very very empty. the art is bland, not special. you can see bourgeois, koons and hirsch everywhere in the world. so much money and so little inspiration. a big disappointment. walls, concrete, cold, unwelcoming, arrogant, apocalyptic.

Please read up on the current exhibit before you go. If what you read does not appeal or if they are in between special exhibits then maybe you should hold off. I feel that some of the negative reviews were based on poorly timed visits. Other negative reviews were based on not even being interested in contemporary art. As for accessibility those criticisms may well be warranted. I will mention for those who haven't noticed that admission for visitors over 65 is free - very unusual! For me the museum was thrilling.

We thought the building was interesting however the exhibitions at the moment were so dreary and not worth the bother!

For a country with such a rich art heritage this place is frankly appalling. A lot of it was closed off but judging by the exhibition spaces that were open nothing was lost. Shame we got charged full price! This is what gives modern art a bad reputation - save yourself the money and the experience of dealing with rude and unhelpful staff. Anyone with a mobility challenge - forget it. The staff don’t care to help in the slightest with operating the lift and it is really quite shocking that many of the facilities are inaccessible in such a modern building. The best thing about this place is the view. What a wasted opportunity to showcase real art and to do so in a friendly and helpful way. I wouldn’t give it any stars. I hope tax payers aren’t being burdened with this awful place - a dreadful lost opportunity.

Great work!a nice place to visit!however the employees (especially an employee in the elevator) were rude and not willing to give instructions. It is a pitty, since the area is elegant and spiritual.
