Stayed here for five nights in September. A few minutes walk from the Central station and ready access to connections to the airport and Milan Metro. We also used this as a base for the F1 grand prix at Monza and a trip to Lake Como.
Hotel was lovely. Clean and spacious rooms, good brekfast and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again if visting Milan.

We stayed in Milan for 3 nights, 3 weeks ago. This hotel was a good base for exploring Milan and for day trips! I completely agree with previous reviewers' comments. It's very convenient, 5 minutes from the central train station (which is a mall by the way) helpful staff, nice breakfast with hot and cold variety and clean!

Our room was great , we had the junior suite and it was spacious with a lot of light, the aircon was satisfying and even though our room was close to the lifts we couldn't hear a thing!

I rated this hotel 5 because it was modern, fresh, recently refurbished and clean which is essential for me! I didn't like the fact that the sheets weren't changed during our 3 night stay though! The pillow cases were changed and the towels but not the sheets!

However, I appreciate it very much when the stuff is polite and helpful and they are doing their best to please their customers!

Room Tip: Corner rooms are more spacious

My wife and I stayed here for one night at the end of our holiday , we arrived by train and the hotel is only a 5 min walk from the station which was handy as the airport buses also leave from there every 20min and cost 10 euro . Upon check in we were impressed with how warm a welcome we received and the information we were given to help us look around the city. Our room was nice and large with a comfy bed and if you wanted to watch tv then there were plenty of channels to choose from, unfortunatley when it came to night you could here every foot step above you and also every door slam on your floor and this turned out to be the wost sleep of the whole holiday and at £200 a night I expect better !!. the breakfast was a complete disapointment as well and looked like the night before leftovers you had some cereals , pasta , eggplant , cold boiled eggs and very lukewarm hot dog sausages and scrambled egg and loads of cakes, again at £200 a night this was rubbish!! and when we complained at reception, the staff who were different from the ones at check in just looked at us and shrugged their shoulders ( so much for customer care ) .The hotel is also near the metro system and you can also walk to the main sqare with the cathedral in about 30 min and if like us you don't have a lot of time make sure you at least make the effort to see it as it's stunning . We would not use this hotel again and I was going to give it a rating of poor but upgraded it as the room was nice and the welcome and help that we got on check in was fantastic .

Room Tip: ask for a top floor room.

We chose this hotel because it was a 4 star and close to the main train station, important for us since we wanted to do two big day trips, one to Lake Como and the other to Switzerland. Literally just 3 minutes walk to the train station, we found this really useful.

Our room was fantastic and the bathroom very spacious. The rooms were super quiet and even though ours was located next to the lifts we couldn't hear a thing. The breakfast was fine and we were always greeted very nicely by the staff.

This was a real 4 star hotel, we will definitely be back and I highly recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Milan and need to do some day trips to Lake Como etc.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room is of a good size, with all the necessary amenities. We arrived late and Vanessa, who was at reception, ensured that our check-in was smooth. The entrance of the hotel has stairs (to go to reception), but there is a porter who will carry your luggage down the stairs to the reception area for you. Vanessa provided us with a map of the area, explained how to get to the subway - using the underground passage located about a 2 minute walk from the hotel, making it extremely convenient! Just remember to take the exit for Via Torriani or Via Pisani on your return, otherwise you will probably end up in the station and will have to walk a bit longer to get back to the hotel. (There is a McDonalds in the station, for anyone who fancies it.) She also recommended a gelato place to us, Le Tre Gazzelle, which was a great recommendation (see my review). We requested an iron and ironing board and when we've finished checking in and went up to our room, the porter was waiting for us with these items outside of our hotel room. These items remained in our room for the duration of our stay. Tea/Coffee-making facilities are not in the room, but available from reception and can be kept in the room for the duration of your stay. The lighting in the room is a bit dim and it's difficult to get ready without opening the curtains - the full-length mirror in the room was a definite bonus! The beds are extremely comfortable!

The bathroom is of a good size, but there are few drawbacks. Ours had a bathtub with a small screen, which resulted in water from the shower spraying into the rest of the bathroom - it would be advisable to invest in a larger screen, or convert the bath to a shower stall. The second drawback was the location of the hairdryer - as it was attached to the bathroom wall and was quite high up, with a short cord, it was difficult to use.

The breakfast was another drawback. As other reviews have indicated the breakfast room is quite small and although we didn't have any issues with securing a table, there were a few who had to wait for a short while before a table was ready. The staff are very attentive, clearing away plates and ready to assist whenever required. Rishi, the chef, was extremely cheerful and chatty. The food was the same everyday and not really of a quality you would expect from a 4-star or a Best Western establishment. Cooked pasta, quiche and roasted aubergine are not my ideal dishes for a breakfast. The boiled eggs were also freezing cold - which was a first for me.

In the lounge area, there is a constant supply of hot water (for tea), coffee and cookies - this can come in handy when you get the munchies.

If you walk out of the hotel and turn right, there are some restaurants there for anyone who is stuck and needs a meal quickly. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but has teamed up with a nearby restaurant who will provide you with room service. I didn't try it so can't comment.

Overall, the hotel is very conveniently located and it is a quick subway ride (or two, depending on your destination), to all the sites. The hotel sells subway tickets, so there's no need to worry about purchasing them at the station.
