“Well located. Quiet and clean.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014

Stayed here for 4 days. A small but comfortable hotel in a residential area away from the tourist traps. Only 15-20 minutes walk away from the MiCo convention centre and close to bus and tram stations. Continental breakfast was great but a bit monotonous after the first couple of days. Staff is efficient and helpful. Rooms have basic amenities, tv/mini bar etc. and the WiFi works! Bathrooms are ok but the shower cubicle is tiny. Overall a pleasant stay. Highly recommended to people going to conferences/conventions at MiCo.

We were 3 guests, stayed in room 207. The room was clean and cosy. Rooms were arranged and towels changed daily. Staff friendly and informative, spoke English well. Breakfast was good, public transportation - 2 min walk to bus, a 10 min ride to metro. We found some pizza places in the area, but on weekends almost everything was closed. A big supermarket 10 min walk away.

Shared a room here with a co-worker during a conference. Hotel is located in a nice part of Milan, and is well maintained and very clean. Service was friendly and very helpful. Only downside is small size of rooms.

Stayed for two nights Saturday and Sunday in May during a trip to see the Milan derby. We walked from Fiera Milanocity where the Malpensa shuttle stops, to the hotel in about ten minutes but good bus or tram links from Cadorna or Centrale stations make it easy to reach. We arrived in the morning way before check in time but were still given our room. The room was nice and large and very clean with all the necessary stuff you need. I found the bed very hard but that is my personal opinion.
The lady on reception was very helpful with information about transport etc., very good customer service.
Breakfast was as expected with a fairly good choice of pastries and the usual things.
The one thing that might put some people off is the location as it is not the most scenic part of Milan. Don't let that bother you as the transport links around the hotel are very good and they will sell you a one day travel card at reception. If you want longer there is a Tabbachi just around the corner that sell them.
Overall a very efficient hotel and I would recommend it as a base for exploring Milan.

The lady in charge helped us booking "BikeMI" (city bikes of Milano) and gave a lot of info about bus /tram-lines etc.
We tried the bikes on a day trip along one of the canals and had a good experience. The system with the web booking of the bikes is working fine, but the bikes are a bit heavy for a long ride!

The hotel is located in the northern part of Milano near Piazza Firenze, but you can walk along the Corso Sempione to Parco Sempione in about 45 min, and from here to the centre in another 40 min.
Good restaurants are located in Via Piero della Francesca near Piazza Firenze, and tram- and bus lines to the centre of Milano, the Central Station and the charming canal area (Naviglio) are all to be found just round the corner. Ask the reception.

The hotel might not be located in the most charming street in Milano, but it is clean and quiet, the staff is helpful and a good base for some days in Milano.

We stayed in Hotel Berlino for 2 nights on may 2014. Its a nice hotel, great rooms - large, clean and well fashioned. though too dark - were not really have the chance too have a good light inside it in the night time. The breakfast is fine, had everything we expected. there is a reasonable connection to city center by Tram 14\1 ( 25 minutes average), and also great connection to Milan central station by bus number 90\91 (20 minutes average). the staff is really friendly, helpful and welcoming. the only real minus i can mention is that the hotel is located in a quite poor neighborhood, not the best place to go around when its dark. we booked it through their site and they asked for payment in advance as we checked in since the claimed they could not verify the credit card which is quite weird since its worked in other places we stayed but it did not really bother us. great value for money. would go back again. nice for a short visit in Milano.
