Unless you are desperate to find a place in the city center for work purposes, stay away from this place!!!!it is clean and breakfast is acceptable but it is so expensive for no wifi in room, unwelcoming staff and weird bathroom design!!!!

Room Tip: Check your room and bathroom before you enter!!!!make sure you like it for what you pay!!!!!

I loved this hotel! The location was great. The staff, amenities, food, accommodations and decor were fabulous. The staff gave us two recommendations for dinner and both were exceptional - the best meals I've had so far in my 3 month long trip through Italy.

I stayed in a renovated room and LOVED IT. No view (unless you like looking at the building next door) but who cares? The room was gorgeous. Modern graphic print wallpaper, gorgeous tufted headboard, backlit TV, King Louis chair upholstered in gorgeous navy fabric , lacquered desk with a lucite lamp and a marble-everything bathroom. After lots of older Italian hotels in villages, towns and cities...this hotel was a dream come true.

My only gripe - and it's a big one, was the Wi-Fi. It was only free in common areas, and required hourly hanging of credentials. It was a major hassle and at this price point, I think it's unacceptable for Wi-Fi to be this difficult to use.

Room Tip: Ask for a renovated room, if possible.

You cannot find a better location in Milan for sure.
However , when you enter a hotel and see the concierge , they remind you of the film Night Porter, at least it was my association.
Artificially kind , assessing the wallet of the guest and adapting their attitude accordingly.
It has lost a lot of its decor freshness , rooms are decent and differ in style , which is not so good , because they can give you a different room for the same price.
I asked for the top floor ,and quiet room , but got only the tops floor.
You have to add 25 euros for the garage and if you want the valet service it will cost you 40 e more .It is inappropriate for the star rating of the hotel and overall quality of the same.
We had dinner at the Opera restaurant within the hotel , decent , nothing special. The selection of wines is good , however very expensive. It should be used just in emergency situation.

Room Tip: Top floor for sure , since it is very noisy...

A pretty nice hotel, mainly due to its very central location. The rooms were adequate and clean, the staff friendly, so everything was quite good. Especially considering that it was in Italy, where the quality can vary. The junior suite we rented was nice and thank God at the top floor so we did not have an parking garage outside the window. We could even see the top of Il Duomo from the window. The bar area is really nice. A bit greedy, however, that the wifi in the room was charged extra per hour, considering what the room cost (a lot). Also the restaurant and the breakfast could have been a notch better, without really being bad. But with the price tag, you want just a little more. Have quite conflicting emotions about rating this... Still it get a slightly reluctant "4" in the overall rating.

Room Tip: If the view matters floor 6 is to preffer.

Reception desk at New Year's Eve better avoid Oprah's wrath !!,"
Like for Oprah's scandal in a Zurich luxury goods shop recently, the receptionnist kept repeating that a restaurant dinner "will be very expensive " on that day, as if we looked like bums ! The truth is i was dressed "casual", and my male partner "happens" to be black, slender and... Wear a rasta hat ! nevertheless we DO have money and could have paid for the most expensive meal effortlessly! We also were refused to be served a coffee next morning in the "geen bar" located in front of the hotel... You said racism ?
Globally very unfriendly and unpleasant service !

What a perfectly situated Hotel. Close to milan Opera House, The Magnificent Victor Emmanuelle Arcade and the Cathedral of Milan. Breakfast included and the dining room served evening meals. Our room was very comfortable. The huge advantage was being close to major shops as well as tourist attractions.

Stayed here for a long weekend with friends. The hotel is brilliantly located for all the city centre attractions especially the duomo and La scala? Our deluxe room was a good size with a comfortable bed, but decor and fittings were getting tired. Our friends had a modernised room and presumably all rooms will be changed over time. The reception staff and concierges were very helpful and friendly, as was the overworked bar man. Breakfast was the only meal we took in the hotel and we only did that once. Service was brusque, almost hostile, and the food on offer was unappealing. The coffee was undrinkable. For our other days here we went across the road to the Juice Bar for a fresh breakfast and good coffee.
