We stay here for 3 days only for shopping, the girl in reception ( eliana ) is very friendly and very helpfull.....showed us the best way to get to shopping area and romantics places for us.

The room was big enough and very very clean for us but bath room is very small....I like bath tub more than moly just showers .....!

This hotel is very close to train station so we could go anywhere we like in the city.

Dear Youvan,

thank you very much for your comments, they have been really appreciated.
We hope to welcome you again in a short time and please ask us for a room with bath tub, we have many rooms with big bathrooms and tubs.

Kind regards,

This hotel has a good location- is situated on one of the main shopping streets. It is close to many sights and if not a short metro ( very easy to figure out) ride or the hop on, hop off buses can get you there. Staff couldn't be more helpful, especially on reception. We were given more than enough maps and guidance to the best routes to the sights and shops and eating places.Their English also good. Lifts are quite small but we only used them on our first and last days for our luggage. Breakfast is ok a limited selection of cereals and full English but plenty of pastries, fruit, cake, drinks, yoghurts, fresh bread etc. Although if you are like me and only drink hot chocolate- Italians seem to only make it as melted neat dark chocolate!
The room and bathroom is of adequate size. Quite noisy at night time if you have the window open but at least we could control the temperature in the room. Lack of sockets available so when using the kettle had to put it on a stool by the door but managed. Descent shower, wash basin and bed. We stayed for 4 nights and found there was enough wardrobe space. Please note you need a new wi-fi code everyday, so even if you forget to get it when your in reception, they give it over the phone from your room. Hair dryer is not very powerful in the bathroom but I've yet to find one abroad that is!

Plenty of local restaurants and cafés which is good because we didn't have to spend any money travelling to them in the evenings. There isn't a lot to do after dinner- the hotel has a bar but closes at 9pm and to be honest we were so tired from the shopping and sightseeing everyday we went straight to bed. Beware that some Italians can be quite rude-particularly on the streets as you walk past. They would rather barge past you or knock you into the road than give way to you! As English we felt we stood out a lot as well and find we were a magnet for local sellers on the street. A simple but firm "no thank you" worked most times although you always do get some that follow you up the street. Also keep handbags around the front of you from pick pockets. Beware as we'll of the city tax when you check out as this was more than we were originally told before travel and they only take cash.

Overall a fair priced stay. We went onto Rome after Milan and our hotel there made this one seem 5 star!! Very clean, tidy, pleasant staff and lots more to see in the City than we realised. We could have done it all in 3 days but I think we would have been rushed so 4 days was good really. Plus pizzas and pasta are fantastic! Would recommend and stay there again :).

The first thing I noticed when I walked down the hall to my room on the 5th floor was how thoroughly the cleaning staff did their work. One maid was on her hands and knees scrubbing the floors. Indeed my (single) room was neat as a button and clean as a whistle. It also became eminently clear how close this hotel was to much of what you'd want to see in Milan. Being right on top of the Lima metro, you're poised to reach any point on the map. You can walk to the Central Station, gateway to Bergamo and terminus for the Malpensa Express (which is the best way to get to and from the airport). The staff are friendly, the breakfast copious (but basic), and the price is right. Final bonus--the mini bar is relatively inexpensive. Three euros for a beer.

Room Tip: Some rooms on the backside of the hotel have small balconies.

I found this hotel after a long survey and I felt very happy about my choice. Location was fantastic, close to the train station and the City Center. Very good shopping area around the hotel and Metro and bus station were just few steps away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 5th floor on Corso Buenos Aires. It was quiet, spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good. Wi-fi connection worked properly.

We had a great 3 night stay at the Best Western City. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and efficient. Near reception there is a bar and free coffee is available from a machine. We wanted to print off our boarding cards for the return flight and we were shown to a conference room downstairs from reception where there is a PC and printer.

The hotel is in a great location on Corso Buenos Airies with lots of shops that open late, even on Sunday. It is an easy walk from Milan Centrale Station and there is a metro station just down the road. We got a 24 hour metro ticket for 4.50 euros and managed to visit most of the tourist sites that way. On the Sunday we were there the main road was closed off and there were lots of children's events going on which was nice to watch.

Our room was a good size and even though it overlooked the main street there was hardly any noise. The bathroom had a bath tub and shower, the only minor complaint is that the water was not quite hot enough for my liking but it wasn't too bad. In the room was a tv, safe and mini bar. The bed was very comfortable and we got a good night’s sleep.

Breakfast was very good with a wide range of food available. The breakfast room was clean and food was replenished often.

For the price we paid we thought the Best Western City was great value and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location (on Corso Buoenos Aires, one the great shopping avenue of Milan) few steps away from the Tube, restaurants, clubs and bar.
The room was confy and modern, perfectly isolated from the outside noise and well warmed.
Very nice bathroom with all conforts and fully sanitized.
A qualified, polite and helpful staff was always at our disposal to give advises and help. Great Continental breakfast.

I do reccomend this hotel!
