“Amazing location and value”
Reviewed 2 March 2013

Good location and price. Had a superior room which was clean and tidy.not much difference in cost for the superior. Bathrooms were well equipped . Ours had a shower and bath.
Staff very friendly. Although quite basic was nicer than average and for the money and location would be hard to beat.

Stayed 2 nights on business as very close to the office I was visiting. Got the recommendation from a colleague and must say I was pleased with the experience. Tucked away up a side street it is still quite close to the main road and trams although they never disturbed me too much through the night. Bed was nice and firm (my preference) nice clean bathroom with good shower and lots of hot water although bizarrely the compimentary shampoo / shower gel etc. was on the desk in the bedroom rather than the bathroom....

Room was incredibly hot for me and there was a door to open to a small balcony so be careful if you might go there with toddlers....you'll need to get a different room layout. I couldn't think about sleeping with the door open (but then ralised of course you can leave the door open and pull down the shutters...but a window would have been nice just for a bit of a breeze.

Lots of mirrors in the room make it feel bigger which is a clever touch although I would't want to have to spend too long in there....which reminds me - only ONE English speaking channel on the TV which is CNN - so not much by the way of entertainment ...IF the hotel reads this they really should think about getting some decent TV channels in there in this day and age. The wardrobe is small and difficult to get clothes in and hung up so if you're a couple you may live out of the suitcase.....or utilise the three chairs. Not much drawer space either. There is a mini bar though although no Tea and Coffee facilities in the room (thought that was something a bit lacking).

Breakfast was included in my €102 per night charge and that was really well presented and with a good choice of cereals, breads meats, pastries etc. etc. and the waiting staff are quick and efficient.

Being (a bit of) a pianist it was nice to see a piano in the "Garden Room" which has a big communal TV in it as well...still with mainly Italian channels...BUT the piano was not in a good state of repair and some of the keys were barely working - so not really sure if a piano as a bit of furniture, rahter than a musical instrument, was much point....

The hotel is very clean, well presented, has an authentic feel to it and is very central so I would recommend it for a sight-seeing visit - if it's raining and you have to stay in though, take your laptop and use the Wi-Fi access or a pack of cards (assuming of course you do not speak fluent Italian.....).

My stay was therefore only spoilt by the neighbouring Brits who had an inability to realise that not everyone else is up at 1.00am and wants to enjoy their raucous laughter. Thankfully they eventually went to bed and perhaps I expect too much for other people to be more aware of their surroundings.......

Room Tip: I think one away from the front (as there would be street noise) would be best.

Stayed two nights on a short break. Service (check-in, restaurant recommendation) was very friendly and efficient, reasonable buffet breakfast. The room was fairly small but clean and very comfortable. Less than 10 minutes walk to Duomo and the nearest metro station so ideal to explore the city.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel and on the whole it was not a bad experience. It is clean and the staff were helpful and courteous. However, the breakfast was very meagre and disappointing. The bar was tiny and consisted of 2 stools in front of a small bar, no beer on draught, only bottles and spirits.

Room Tip: Lift very slow, get a room on lower floors.

The Hotel is clean, the management and the staff are always with a smile in their face, the location is great and very quite. It is always a pleasure to spend few days of work or pleasure in such a great hotel. You walk in and you feel like you are home. I would recommand it and I will be going back again.

Stayed 3 nights having used avios to book. The hotel is in a great location for central Milan, nearby a tram stop and around 10 mins walk to the nearest metro station and the Duomo. Staff were very helpful, especially Antonio, who was able to help whenever asked. Friendly bar staff provided nibbles with our aperitif with attentiveness. The room was OK, nothing special and a little small by UK standards. Sticking two single beds together is a bit a cheap. I'd say it's a good three star or just scraping four based on personal experience. Only real downside was the refuse disposal seemingly emptying every bin in Milan outside our 2nd floor room at 0530!!
