This hotel was amazing. We were treated very well by staff. We were surprised with an upgraded room upon arrival, which was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom beautiful and the hotel was gorgeous. Breakfast was decent but not amazing. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the Duomo and about a 5 minute walk to the metro. This hotel was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I can 100% confirm JiaqiG comment. Probably we had the same Room. Our room was also on the first floor. When I checked in the room I immediately returned to the reception and wanted to change the room. The lady at the desk told me we should have told before that we want a quiet room!!!! She could´t change the room as they were fully booked. We should be happy because we got a upgrade to a junior suite!! So we had two nights of very few sleep. Generally its a nice hotel and the ambiente is good but if you can't sleep..........With another room I probably would rate 5 stars

Dear Guest,
thank you for your useful feedback on Tripadvisor and please rest assured that we have taken in consideration your comments.
We apologize if you have been probably assigned to one of our few noisy rooms. We have checked and fixed the window fixture in order to ensure an high and comfortable level of soundproof.
Unfortunately during your stay due to high occupancy we were not able to move to another quiter room , even if the answer given by our from office attendant does not comply with our standards of service and guest satisfaction .
Rest assured that our focus has always been our Guests' satisfaction and I hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you again and to show you the effective standard of our hotel and that the wonderful comments we have received until now on Tripadvisor are deserved and a hotel and its accommodations can't be judged just for one room.
We deeply apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay regarding the accommodation and we appreciate very much your understanding .

Our warmest regards.

This hotel is fairly new, as it had only been open 6 months at the time of my visit. My opinion is that this hotel is well situated. The area is quite, feels safe, and it's only a 10 minute walk to the Duomo. Along the way, there are plenty of shops and restaurants to check out. For Milan's attractions, the hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the Metro.

The hotel itself is very lovely. The lobby doubles as a lounge, and is quite nice to hang out in. A guest will probably find him/herself spending time there in order to use the Internet from a phone, laptop or tablet. It really doesn't make sense to spend cash for in-room Internet, unless it's absolutely essential.

The hotel staff are very courteous and efficient. They are also very helpful in recommending dining and nightlife options in the city.

My room was excellent. The decor was modern, the bed was comfortable, and the room had countless amenities. The bathroom deserves its own review! It had everything one might need to feel refreshed.

Breakfast service was also quite nice. There were a very of options including, breads, fruit, meat, juice, milk, and cereal. The dining staff were quite friendly and courteous.

This hotel, in my opinion, had it all. I would highly recommended it. I'd certainly stay here again.

This is a genuine, high quality, 4 star hotel. Rooms are very clean & secure, fantastic bed, block out curtains, super quiet room, excellent bathroom & professional staff. Great night's sleep! Tv channels are full satellite not just free to air. Breakfast was quite fine. I think it's in a great location. A walk to town centre. I really couldn't fault this place. We booked early & received a very good rate. This hotel wears the tripadvisor certificate of excellence with pride (unlike some others). Stay here without hesitation.

Cannot believe some of the reviews of this hotel. This hotel is new, modern, clean and elegant. Beds very comfortable (we had a slightly larger deluxe room), air conditoning very efficient. Staff very courteous, check-in easy and swift.

Yes, some of the staff speaks English with an accent, but that should be no big problem.

Yes, the garage was full when we came, but we got very clear directions to the parking garage a block and a half away. What would be the problem with that?

Yes, the hotel is not located next door to Duomo, but a ten minute walk or a two-stop journey with the tram, what is the problem with that?

You could stay even closer to the city center, but I doubt you would find a value as good as this hotel.

The hotel has nice rooms but is located quite far away from the centre of Milan. It is a 10 minute plus walk to the Duomo.

The hotel while being rated as four stars has a few annoying practices. These include no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. When we enquired about this, the staff advised that they only had 5 kettles and none were available at that time.
No irons or ironing boards could be provided. There was no way of getting clothes ironed other than their inhouse laundry which has limited operating hours and would cost a fair bit.
The king sized bed requested turned out to be two single beds joined together.
To get an adapter we had to pay a deposit of 5 Euros.
Almost all the TV channels were in Italian or other languages, apart from some news channels.
We are frequent travellers all over the world and found these practices very annoying. This is not a cheap hotel or a youth hostel, I am therefore not sure why they insist on such practices to generate more revenue for themselves.
On a positive note, the breakfast was very nice and the rooms were spacious.
My suggestion is to avoid this hotel if you can.

Room Tip: Deluxe Rooms are nice

Overall a really pleasant stay. We were here for 3 nights with my parents in law. We used the metro regularly which was great. The hotel itself was a little mixed. The rooms were lovely, modern, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains were black out so we slept really well. Breakfast was nice too with a good selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereals and cooked food. There were lots of nice touches such as chocolates with the turndown service as well as slippers laid out for you. We had drinks in the hotel bar every day and they were about average prices for Milan. The bell boys were great as were the bar staff.

So, for the down side! The reception service is poor. It took a long time to check in as they had lost the reservation for one room. When we checked in at the 2pm check in time only one room was ready. As everyone was tired, we went to the one room and were told by reception that it would be 5 minutes and they would bring the key to the second room up to us. It took around 45 minutes and three chase up calls to get access to our other room. We tried to call the concierge to book a restaurant and the reception desk answered and put the phone down on me. This happened twice.

In general, a good stay, but with closer management it could be much better.

Also - it is difficult to find out where you go for breakfast - especially given the above - and it isn't in the guest services book. It is on the 3rd floor by the way!

While you're there - just as a pointer - we had an amazing meal at Nuevo dieci - reasonably priced and great food!
