Owner description: Don't venture into this legendary shopping district unless fully armed...with a fat checking account and impeccable designer duds: only the crème de la crème dare enter these hallowed boutiques, and shoppers are expected to look the part.

“Expensive, expensive, expensive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 April 2010

it's the square made by four streets, via spiga, via montenapoleone, via manzoni and via san't andrea. It's where all the most expensive shops of Milan are. It's where Dolce and Gabbana have around 100 shops including barbers and cafes. All major designers, italian and non italian, have a shop in this area, and most of these shops include some brilliant design and, most likely, a restaurant, bar or a cafe inside. The problem is that you won't have enough money to pay for drinks or food in them, let along clothes or shoes. Price of a coffee start at 6 € and go up from there, so just pace around the area and look at the windows, drool over the beautiful 500 € shoes and 2000 € bags and clothes you see, and then feel jealous about 14 year old girls coming out of shops with gucci bags. Then go shopping somewhere else, there's plenty of shops in Milan cheaper than these; but, truth said, I wish I could have shopped in these ones, everything looked sooo beautiful.
