Our bedroom was spacious and clean but it smelled like cleaning liquid SO STRONG I had to ask to clean it just with water during our stay. Bathroom was great. It was a little noisy because of the tram passing outside 24 hours. Breakfast was very very good BUT it is over at 11 and even if you are sitting there finishing your scrambled eggs they turn off the lights... so rude!
The hotel has free wifi and free bottles of water. It is well located, just 20 minute walk to the city center and you can take the tram just outside the hotel.
The people at reception speak poor english.

Room Tip: The higher the better, you will have less street noise.

We got a room on the 4th floor. The bar with water, coke and orange soda was free. The wi-fi was free too. Breakfast is not free but for 10 euros you can get a lot of food if you're hungry. All kinds of coffee, fruit, eggs, bread and butter, croissants, etc. The bathroom was roomy with big, well lit mirror. The shower had two showerheads - one big one over head and one, as it seemed, for kids since it was placed right in the middle of the shower cabin. The bed was very big, firm as we like it and I think could actually fit a kid if it were parents with one. The staff were very friendly. What I personally didn't like is the pillow. Everything else was pretty good.

Room Tip: Doesn't seem like it matter which side are the rooms, the hotel is on the corner and both street...

Clean, efficient, well positioned, good breakfasts & nice bar. Exceeded all expectations on first visit five years ago, did not disappoint on this visit. Other reviewers seem to overlook the fact that part of Milans extremely useful and inexpensive public transport systems is the ancient, noisy tramway. Coupled with Italy's love of cars in one of the busiest big city's in Europe might lead to the inconvenience of noise during normal waking hours.

This was a one star hotel at best. The room was ok, the air conditioning was marginal and the location (1st fl.) was loud with street noise so we had trouble sleeping the two nights we were there. The day staff appeared to have an attitude towards our group and we got the feeling they were annoyed with questions and directions. The breakfast was just ok but the coffee was great!
We were happy to leave the hotel for Alba and get some sleep in a first class hotel which we did.
My recommendation is to stay at another hotel.

was on business for 2 nights. while single room did not seem to fall into category of updated room was clean and comfortable. Staff could not have been nicer and gone out of their way more. I lost my cell phone and had both gentleman at front desk on the case and as a result got it back. They were great with directions help also. There is an outdoor area in front of hotel which is lovely to sit out at night. Bartender also could not have gone more out of his way making sure everyone was happy with drinks/snacks outside. Location is 15 minutes walk from duomo and 10 mins walk from corso buenos aires.

We stayed in Milan for a three day stop over before commencing our Italian holiday. In hindsight we wish we had stayed longer. The city was filled with attractions and our stay was enhanced by trying at the Windsor Hotel. It's location to the main attractions and train station ( only 800 metres) was a big plus for us. The junior suite that we had was fantastic and enjoyable. The price was reasonable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was sumptuous.
Although there were trams outside the hotel, the noise was not a major issue for us. Free wi Fi and free mini bar.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floors tend to be protected from the noise of the traffic. If you can, as for a jun...
