Next to Station Centrale, convenient for train or air travel. About a 40 minute walk to Duomo. Clean & comfortable, reasonable value. Ok bar & breakfast.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better - it's across the street from the train station. Being the beginning of Fashion Week it was very busy but the service was great. Rooms are modern and quiet, there are even motorized draperies. The breakfast had many options and was excellent. On future trips to Milan I won't consider staying anywhere else.

I spent one night at this hotel on a business trip and was not impressed. The decor is very 1980s flash - dark wood, gold & crystal everywhere ... and with an outdated style. I can imagine the hotel was quite swank when it was first built, but nothing has changed, so now it just looks old-fashioned to me.

Great location for connections because it's at the central station. Not a nice area for exploring on foot (though most areas near train stations aren't in general...).

Had a tiny room with one single bed - it felt claustrophobic mainly because all of the decor was so dark! It had Sky TV which was nice. Internet was free (good!) but only via a cable, which connected to the TV...and didn't reach to the desk. So while there was a desk, I couldn't use it to do any work, I had to sit on a chair perched near the TV. Very awkward.

Hotel food was mediocre - classic buffet, feed-a-lot-of-people-cheaply type food. I stopped in the 'bar' briefly because they told us it had working wifi, and they were serving a very sad looking buffet for 25 euros a head! I found that very overpriced for what was on offer, and I travel extensively in Europe.

This hotel has potential - but needs a modern, fresh, clean update - and wifi!!

We got a great rate ($167), great location (across from Milano Centrale), great service and beautiful room. We were only there one night and hated to leave. There were a lot of creature comforts (free web via LAN cable, electric shutters, jacuzzi) that we had missed in other hotels on the trip.

Michelangelo is very conviently located across the street from the centrale station. The service is excellent, the front desk and concierge are more than helpful. The rooms are very nice, clean and they offer free internet. There is a no charge mini bar of different waters, sodas and snacks.

Our only suggestion would be an improvement on the breakfast (not good) as well as upgrading the computers in the business center.

Also, if you have some extra time take a day trip to Lake Como! 30 minute train ride and it is BEAUTIFUL!

Would highly recommend to anyone!

I've stayed in many hotels in Milan that were dismal despite a four star rating, either inconveniently located or supbar in the services they offer. Hotel Michelangelo, by contrast, is a TRUE four star hotel, offering all the amenities business travelers expect. These include internet points in the bar/cafe, free net access in rooms, soundproofed rooms, international television including English language news and entertainment channels, and best of all -- hydrotherapy tubs in every bathroom. I can't wait for another opportunity to stay here!
