“Fantastic hotel”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

I have reached this hotel after being at another 4-star hotel in Milan just a few blocks away, and the difference was huge.
The rooms are not big but well decorated and comfortable.
The staff at the reception was extremely lovely and helpful.
Breakfast was very good with a very good, smily service that was listening to special requests. I also had lunch at the restaurant for business and it was fairly good.
The spa is great. You get 2 hours of free entrance and the facility is well designed and super clean. It's not big but after a full day of meetings it serves as a great relaxation point (I haven't tried the treatments but the variety looks very professional).
All in all, very good return on your investment for a 4-star!

Room Tip: Rooms on the 2nd floor are for smokers...

This hotel met all of our expectations in Milan! We travelled 18 hours from America and wanted a comfortable hotel to stay in once we arrived. This hotel hit the spot. Located right off the Metro train, we were at this hotel within 45 minutes of leaving the airport. The hotel has a great free breakfast, air conditioning, Internet, free wifi, and great rates. Although our room was small (we didn't care), we were only in there to sleep and didn't mind. Comfortable bed, good mini bar aNd excellent location. We rented the yellow bikes for 2.50 euro each to get around town and it was fabulous- there were stations right next to the hotel andit was cheap. Great way to travel the city!

Located on a great shopping street. Rooms are tasteful, little small and clean. (Although my bin could have been better cleaned!). The staff are very accommodating, professional and friendly. Perfect for a short trip to Milan. Reception and guest areas are lovely and nice for a coffee or apertivo!

Room Tip: Single rooms are tiny!

I booked a trip here for my mothers birthday over a year ago. The hotel is located a beautiful straight street with high end shops located at one end, with more reasonable shops located on the opposite end of the street. The hotel itself is modern, clean and extremely comfortable. The restaurant is very clean. We had breakfast every morning and it was delicious. I am an extremely fussy eater but we ate here a few nights too and their seabass was one of the best I've ever eaten. Will certainly stay here again when i can afford to hit the shops of Milan.

Stayed here for 2 nights as we came from Rome to take a tour on the Bernina Express to Switzerland. The hotel and rooms are immaculate! The Metro stop is just steps from the hotel. Excellent location and wonderful stay here.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Milan!

A very high standard hotel with fine attention to cleanliness and detail. We would definitely stay here again. Our room was clean and well presented with a very comfortable and very large bed. The bathroom was of a reasonable size although the shower wasn't designed for tall people! We greatly appreciated the air conditioning in the boiling temperatures of Milan in August!

We particularly enjoyed our daily 2 hours of access to the spa. The perfect way to unwind after sightseeing around Milan. The access included the relaxation pool (so perfect!) a sauna, a steam room and various showers to awaken your senses! Our spa trips were our favourite part of our stay.

As it was August, Milan becomes something of a ghost town, so the only negative about the stay was the lack of a proper menu at the restaurant as it ran on a summer menu (clearly being served and heated by the gentleman at the bar!) The menu included a cheese burger with no bun served with crisps, and a pizza clearly from the freezer. However, given the overall quality of the hotel otherwise, we presume that outside of August the restaurant will operate with a normal home-made menu that meets the high expectations set by such a great hotel.

Overall, the hotel was fantastic and really felt part of the decadent Milanese culture. I would visit again but perhaps not in August again!

I was truly amazed by the standard of this hotel. I have stayed in Best Western Hotels before but this was more like a high end hotel then a chain. I had booked a superior tiwn room with balcony which was lovely to sit out on in the evening and people watch Our room was a higher floor overlooking the main street. It was enormous, more in keeping with American size rooms than what I expect in Europe. The beds were really comfortable and we had a wonderful nights sleep. There was a fridge in the room which was well stocked, although I didn't purchase anything. Strangely even though there was a kettle in the room there was only tea, no coffee or milk? The bathroom was a good size and spotless. We had free wifi in the room which is always a must when travelling with a teenager. We used the thermal pool which I didn't know the hotel had when I booked and was a wonderful treat after a long day. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided in the rooms for you to change into for the spa/pool. The only down side was that during August the pool closed at 8pm.
We were only there one night and ate in the hotel resturant. The service and food was quite good but the menu was limited. If I was staying longer I would have chosen to eat elsewhere, but that would be my only complaint about the hotel.
Overall this hotel far exceeeded my expectations and I will defintely stay here again.

Room Tip: Book a superior room, the extra space will be worth it.
