I stayed in a single room in the hotel booked through an internet agent. Arrived at the hotel at lunchtime but couldn't book in until 2pm so left luggage in secure room until then.
Location is excellent, entrance to underground is right outside the entrance to the hotel on the main Corso Buenos Aires, just a couple of stops from the Central Train Station one way and the Duomo Centre the other way.
The hotel is stylish and modern, my room was clean, looked like it had been recently refurbished.
Breakfast was a good selection, and service was excellent.
Overall excellent value for money, and good location - will definately stay on my next visit to Milano.

We stayed in this hotel for four nights and had a room on the fifth floor. It is definitely one of the better hotels I stayed in in Italy, certainly when taking into account the price (150 euro a night which is not that bad in a city like Milan). The room was not very big (compared with US standards) but certainly not small either, it was very clean, satellite tv with hunderds of channels, the bed was okay (although my wife who has backproblems said it was too hard), there was no bath but a very spacious shower with lots of soap, shampoo and so on, breakfast was terrific and the location of the hotel is quite good. It's about 20-25 minute walk to the Duomo but you can also take the Metro right in front of the hotel (just 3 stops, 3 euro for a one-day travel card). The people at the reception speak English very well and were very helpful is assisting to find restaurants and so on. I will almost certainly go to this hotel again when I visit Milan next time.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in March 2007 & were very happy with the hotel. We were on the top floor at the front of the hotel. The room was small by American standards but larger than most European hotel rooms. The bathroom was large but only with a walk in shower. The shower did not have very good pressure & it was hard to regulate the temperature as it kept fluctuating but was mangeable. Everything was immaculately clean. There was a divided closet with shelves on 1 side. There was a safe in the closet. The bed was quite comfortable & not too hard. Extra pillows were in the room. There was a mini bar & the cable TV has CNN. Wireless internet connection is available through swisscom for a fee but we could not get it to work consistently. .

The breakfast was included & was served in a very attractive breakfast room. The service was excellent. Breakfast was great with meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, cereal, yogurt & fresh fruit. There were lots of rolls & bread. Beverages included juices, tea, & coffee.

You can ask for a kettle with tea & coffee to have in your room which we did & it was a nice touch (no charge). A light bulb burnt out & they responded immediately to our call & it was changed in about 10 minutes.

The hotel lobby & entrance is very attractive & the staff is very helpful. There is a bar in the lobby.

The location is great. It was a 5 Euro taxi ride from the train station during the day & a bit more in the early morning..(It is convenient to take the airport bus from the train station to Malpensa airport.) There is a metro stop literally outside the door. We did not find it noisy as another reviewer did but we were on the top floor so that probably made a difference. We walked to & from the cathedral multiple times & even walked back from Santa Maria Dell grazie where the Last Supper is. There are lots of restaurants close to the hotel & we felt very safe walking around at night. I

We booked our room through hotel.com which was cheaper than booking directly in this instance.

I highly recommend this hotel & would definitely stay there again.

Front desk staff very attentive-Making us Cappucino on our early morning departure to airport.

Stayed there 5 nights and was first booked in a room on 1st floor too small and too dark, although clean and nice. Demanded to be moved into a larger room on a higher floor and was quickly accommodated.
I have stayed in this hotel many times before and was a bit disappointed by the room they first give me. This being said, it is a good location hotel ( Next to cab station and Underground access), in a safe and pleasant area, staff speaks several language and is helpful. The hotel has been renovated , is spacious and confortable, breakfast very decent for Milano and although most bathroom have only shower and no bathtub, it is extremely clean.
So I would still recommend this hotel as good value place with consistency in service. Will suit better a couple or family rather than a single

The hotel was value for money. The rooms were fairly modern and in an excellent location for exploring Milan. Staff were
friendly and helpful. The only down side was the buzz
and rumble of the underground. We were on the third floor but could still feel the effects.

This hotel was actually quite nice for the money. I had the opportunity of staying in a double and a single room. Yes, the rooms were small but I am assuming that most people will only be sleeping in their rooms so you can actually make do. Someone posted a comment regarding the noise from the train. Yes, you can hear it and I stayed on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the hotel but I did not find it to be quite that loud and actually you can tune it out it was not anything that anyone should find disturbing. The hotel lobby is really quite lovely, the hotel is very clean as well as the rooms. I found the staff to be quite pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. My only complaint - wish they had softer pillows. Other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay there again.
