“What a great place to enjoy milan from”
Reviewed 16 August 2012

The Eneterprise hotel was everything we wanted and more. Having just spent 3 nites in this wonderful hotel I cant praise the staff and the facilities it offered us. from the ease of check in to a breakfast that caters for every flavour or taste you could have. breakfast set us up for the day . we were advised to get the tram on the first day to get into central milan which was great . On day two we took a very leisurely stroll into the park which leads in to the castelo Sforzesco which took about 20 mins. From there all milans main attractions were within easy reach.
the spa facilities in the hotel enterprise were well worth the money and great after a day walking around milan. we would highly recommend this hotel and when we go back to milan will def stop here again

Room Tip: ask for room on back of hotel . view not great but very quiet and relaxin

This was our first stop of 3 weeks in Italy and it was a good starting point. We got a family suite for our family of 4. The first stop at the reception was really pleasant with a genuine friendly greeting and lots of helpfulness.
The suite main bedroom area was in the loft and the living room became two single beds for the kids - cramped the room a bit, but it worked fine. Kitchen had what we needed but after the breakfast who wanted a kitchen.
The breakfast was full on big buffet and the best breakfast we had throughout our Italy travels. The cook did an excellent job with poached eggs and omelets and there was lots of selection for our hungry boys.
Check out the huge Nutella container at the buffet!
The A/C was effective and quiet.
Out only negative was that the room lacked natural light - windows were high up except for the one looking out at the neighbouring building.

The tram was right outside our door and it was a cheap and easy way to get to the Duomo. We like this kind of location - close to downtown but out just far enough to avoid downtown issues.
This hotel was a good value and worked well with our family.

As a young family, it is always harder to find accommodation that matches our need for space, sleeping areas and the ability to relax after a day of city exploration - The Enterprise delivered in spades!

This was our first trip to Milan, with the entire family in tow!
It speaks volumes that we were so comfortable, we never made it to the Spa on the roof!

The room (a suite converted to sleep an additional 2 kids) was gorgeous, amenities were great (having free WI-fI helps), and our stay was perfect as a result!

Situated in the Sempione district, we were 10mins tram ride from Central Milan, and the old wooden tram is must for any visitor to the city.

The staff were multilingual, attentive and always helpful with our numerous requests!
We had a breakfast and dinner at the hotel on one occasion - which didn't disappoint.

I'd be more than happy to stay at the Enterprise again.

Room Tip: The Kyoto Suite is a stunning room!

I don't really know how to begin with this hotel. Let me first say that it was FANTASTIC. Enterprise Hotel is an amazing place to stay. I was recently in Milan for a Lenny Kravitz concert being held outside the city. I was there with my travel buddy and we loved it so much that we extended our stay in Milan versus traveling elsewhere as we had planned.

Amenities: The hotel's amenities include a lush restaurant. You can include the cost of breakfast in your stay or opt to pay the extra 14 Euros. Worth it either way. There is a luxurious spa with rooftop access. An ice cream stand. Stationary computers in the lobby. Free WiFi in the rooms. Beautiful indoor/outdoor dining on the garden patio (check out the pictures!). Slippers. An outlet that charged my iPad without a converter or special plug. (BONUS!!!) Finally, my favorite, Satellite television in English. OMG. Movies and television galore to soothe the hearts and minds of the homesick.

Service: Stellar. We shorted out the electricity. They fixed it without a mumble and replaced the kettle. They took care of calling ALL of the stores and other locations we wanted to visit to ask questions for us, get hours as well as directions. They gave us a map for EVERY place we needed to get to and gave us VERY detailed directions about how to get everywhere: buses, trams, trains, cabs... EVERYTHING.

At the desk, ALL of the receptionists were super helpful. Marco and Dominique were the absolute best. They helped me at all hours of the day and night. When I say that I needed help at all hours, I mean all. They were very accommodating. I want to give kudos to Marco especially for his grace under pressure. I was there when a particularly difficult pair of folks arrived. They were demanding, rude and completely out of touch of the concept of common courtesy. Marco handled it as if their requests were reasonable and they weren't acting like a pair of (bleep). He treated them like royalty. He was so kind, so professional. I could only shake my head. What a champ!

In any event: look for the cheapest rate possible at Enterprise Hotel, but STAY HERE if you are looking for 5 star at 4 star prices!

Room Tip: Just ask (please be nice!) to see the rooms available. I didn't but I KNOW they will let you see...

really enjoyed our stay here, the rooms are fantastic, very large for a european city.

we upgrade to a suite, and it wasn't over the top expensive against the basic room (about 1.9x the price). The suite was amazing, great sized bedroom and a very decent living space, with lounges and dining table. The hotel had kindly already setup a small bed in the living space for our baby.

The only negative is the location, as a tourist wanting to see the city centre it wasn't right at your front door. Only a minor negative given the quality of the hotel.

I wouldn't recommend eating at the garden restaurant, it was terrible, no better than average pub food and expensive also.

Breakfast is a pretty decent with an acceptable selection, they had an egg station, pastries, cold meats and cheese, plus a few hot items (4-5).

Overall a very nice and enjoyable stay, highly recommend it, if you don't mind be a little out from the city centre.

Room Tip: I think the suite (and probably the junior suite) is very good value

I think this is the best hotel i EVER stayed in. And I travel a lot. Enterprise is very modern furnished and it's real surprise. We stayed 4 nights in July and I would recommend it to everyone. Staff is very polite and professional, hotel and rooms are very clean and food is delicious. Tgey serve dinner in their private garden. It's magnificent. Very romantic and lovely atmosphere. Just be aware of mosquitos! But everything else is stunning!

We arrived at Enterprise after spending four nights in a fantastic hotel situated a stone's throw from Lake Como, Italy. Therefore, Enterprise had a lot to live up to if it was to compare to our previous experience. Overall, we found the hotel equally good but for largely different reasons. The breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was excellent. There was a wide variety of hot and cold items - I particularly recommend the ham, cheese and mushroom omelette, prepared before your very eyes by the chef. You must ask for espresso, cappuccino, etc. if that's what you prefer because coffee and tea are the only hot drinks on display. We also tried the hotel's 'picnic' for dinner one night and found this food most agreeable. This was served in the very beautiful central 'garden'. However, please be warned: I received numerous mosquito bites during this time! The serving staff did overcome this by lighting candles which, after five minutes or so, rid the garden of those little pests. Nevertheless, the damage was already done! All staff were pleasant, courteous and eager to help should you require assistance. There is secure parking but it is perhaps a little expensive at €18 per 24hrs. We were first a little deterred by the location but there is a tram stop just outside the hotel, which takes approx. 20 minutes to get to the centre of Milan. You buy tickets (single €1.50; return €3; or 24 hrs €4.50) at the newsstand outside the hotel. The nightlife (restaurants and bars) are just five tram stops away. By the end of our three day stay in Milan, we were thankful for the location - the centre seems very congested!
