“Perfect landing spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2013

We landed in Milan and this hotel was super convenient. The room and bed was comfortable, the lobby had good design, the breakfast was incredible, staff was friendly... no problems.
The only downside is that it is a bit far from the center, but nothing a tram can't take care of.
I would come back...

Here's the story. We booked 15 rooms for a birthday party including the suite for ourselves; we booked the outdoor area and food for 25... You’d expect a warm welcome and good service. How we wished this could have been accurate.
Arriving at the hotel late on a Friday evening we are told that there is no booking for us (the organizers of this event) let alone our suite. Being reasonable people we realize these things happen... however being people who have been educated correctly we did not understand the attitude of the receptionist whose name was Olga (or something like that).
She unapologetically told us there were no rooms and told us we could use the computer to prove we had a reservation, which we did. Once we had shown the various email exchanged with the hotel confirming the reservation for the suite for 2 nights, she grudgingly told us that the suite was taken but that she could give us a room for that night and see what would happen the next day.
We arrived in the room, which stank of smoke when one of our guests came to greet us.
He mentioned in surprise that though they had booked a normal room, they were staying in a room that was twice the size and beautiful.
It is then that we realized that though she had taken their passports and had their names she had somehow managed to put them in the suite that we had booked. We were able to switch around the rooms, and by 1am we were finally settled in.
The next day, one of our keys didn’t work anymore. We asked the reception desk to check out what had happened at which point the accusation was that it was due to the key card being held next to the phone. I decided to try mine... that hadn’t been kept anywhere near the phone, and it didn’t work. Our conclusion was (and should have been hers as well) that with the room mix up, the key cards had been deactivated or originally activated for one night only.
To be honest the rest of the stay and event were great, the rest of the staff were friendly and fun and we had a great birthday.
But that receptionist made both our arrival and any requests we had from the reception very difficult and in a hotel that prides its self on organizing events, its inadmissible that someone working on the front desk dares to treat guests in that manner.
On another note the Suite is beautiful, and we would like to thanks the guys from the bar for a great evening!

Voila, hope this review helps any future travelers!

Room Tip: The big suite is great value for money. The junior suites arent worth it

The hotel is located not too far from the main attractions but it is needed to take a tram downtown.

The kyoto room I booked is a tad too old for my liking, the air conditioning was making noise but the sleep quality was good.

The breakfast however needs recognition. The spread is amazing and the staffs are very attentive to your needs.

Other than that, not really worth the 200+ euro for a night. I am sure you can find better and newer hotels in milan.

Spent four days in a great and modern hotel with outstanding breakfast buffet! Staff was very helpful. Room was also very cozy. And you get to the city centre very easily (tram, 10 mts) despite the fact that this hotel is a little bit distant from the heart of the city.

This is our second stay in Enterprise, Milan. First time was 4 years ago and it is obvious that time took its toll. Rooms and furniture look tired and the air has an unpleasant, heavy smell. You can't leave windows open either, since the road beneath is quite noisy.
Service was inconsistent. Complimentary water bottle was missing on few occasions and we had to ring reception twice for coffee sachets that were not replenished.
Front desk instructions for wifi connection were confusing. They tell you that you just need to use a random user name/pass, when in fact you have to go through a registration process before you are able to do that.
Breakfast is still excellent however.

I've been staying many times at Enterprise Hotel in Milan, both for private and business purposes.
The hotel is close to central MIlan area, covered by taxis and bus and all the ways to conect you to the very center of MIlan in frew minutes.
The rooms are clean and well equipped and also the "apartments " are very nice.
Sophia's restaurant is amazing and the location is beautiful as well for the breakfast !

Desk people are very kind and it's always a pleasure dealing with them.

Great Value, good location, not so far from downtown and shopping. Nice and clean...great service. The TVs are a bit tricky. Loved that we could get programs in English. We don't suggest the restaurant as much. A quick note, the bus does not run on Saturdays and Sundays. Check out restaurants on the back side of the hotel, fabulous! We stayed for 3 nights and would stay again.
