“No Complaints… OK for Milan.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2014

I always struggle between 3 and 4 stars for hotels that 'meet a minimum requirement" only. I really can't come up with anything wrong with this hotel. It's got some GREAT staff and some that are earning a paycheck. It's got good parking but it costs 16e a day and can fill up the trickily-cornered garage at times. It's CLOSE to a tram line, but not close to the things you may want to see in Milan. It's got a decent offer price for breakfast (14e each), but you can get MUCH more food, atmosphere, and typical Milanese experience at a cafe down the street (there are several). It's clean, bit not "WOW… HYGIENIC" clean. It's modern, but still has several areas where you think they could drop a little of the profit to upgrade. It's got free WI-FI, but we struggled with hit-or-miss upload rates.

It boils down to your room rate. From my opinion, if you get a good rate that you're happy with.. than this is a 4 or 1.5 star stay. If you feel like you're pushing your budget on this place… you're going to leave thinking that you COULD have found a better place.

I know the hotel from the days that I lived in Milan. I have to say that nearly nothing has changed since then.
There are no problems in general but I believe that a real 4 star hotel needs to develop itself.
I recommend the hotel for all purposes. The place is not so close to the city center but convenient to reach.
The check in and out speeds are efficient.
The rooms are enough for all purposes but nothing extraordinary. The reason I say nothing extraordinary is that the amenities need to be ordered from the reception but not already present in the rooms.
There is free wife which increases the satisfaction.

We had a comfortable stay in this nice Hotel. It was a little noisy because of the tramway passing just in front (we were on the first floor). Not really problem as there are AC in the room you don't need to open the widows.

They provide free WIFI and there is also a safe parking underneath the Hotel, that's a plus.

The only point is for me the location of the hotel. We had to take a tramway (the really old one from the early 1900's) and then the metro to reach the center. A little to far. But apart of that, this hotel is a good deal.

The people at this hotel are very friendly and helpful - especially the front desk people, the breakfast team and the housekeeper. The breakfast was fantastic - the best selection I've seen for this class of hotel in Italy. The only problem we had was the WiFi connection dropping frequently - perhaps a one off problem but certainly ask for an upgrade if your room has such a problem.

I attended a meeting held at MiCo in Milan, and stayed for 7 nights at the Hotel Enterprise. It was excellent in all ways.
i) there was a problem with the A/C, so they upgraded me to a suite for my inconvenience.
ii) the desk staff were uniformly incredibly helpful--I would "name names" but that would imply that some were less helpful than others. Not true--all were terrific. They sorted out train questions, organized a private driver for an early AM departure when the taxi drivers were on strike, helped me figure out a day trip to Lake Como, and were friendly, informed, and endlessly helpful throughout my stay.
iii) the hotel restaurant, "Sophia's" was actually the best place I ate in Italy; although I like variety as much as anyone, I ended eating there for three of my 8 dinners. It's not cheap, but that's Italy! And again, the service was superb.
iv) the included breakfast buffet was terrific. Sorry to be repetitive, but the breakfast service was…superb.
I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Milan for business or vacation.

Room Tip: The suite is nice if it fits your budget--otherwise, European hotel rooms are on the small side by A...

The breakfast was fantastic. The hotel service is excellent. The room is typical size of European hotel, i.e. small in U.S. standard. The service standard is much better than the average of U.S. hotels. The location was convenient.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel, just in the price. I stayed with a friend in a twin room. The room was tiny and the beds as well. However it was clean with a nice bathroom. The bar was nice but extremely expensive. I don't think I would book to go there again.
