Ariston is a very nice hotel to stay in. It is situated in the centre of the citty on walking distance from the many sights of Milano. It is a very clean hotel. The rather small rooms are tidied every day. The bed is ok and the sheets are often changed. There is a fridge, a TV and a cupboard.
The bathroom is very nice.
They serve an ok breakfast from 7.00 until 10.30. The staff is very friendly and they speak English. I really recommend this hotel.

I would not actually call it a hotel ! I was tricked by the location on the map , which is quite near from the duomo , however i can get a similar experience if i slept on one of the sidewalks near duomo !! The hotel was also expensive for no particular reason , breakfast was very limited ...but most of all.... The ROOM OMG !!! Tiny room with a bed as big as a sofa , i could hardly find a place to put my bag! ; ineven asked if i can pay extra to get a bigger room , i was told that i would pay around All night i was hearing a strange noise like water running and pouring over my ceiling ... just a sound , but all night long ! stayed there for one night and checked out in the morning even before securing another hotel booking ....yes , this was how desperate i am to check out !! I guess the hotel staff were nice but that place was - excuse my language - crap !

Room Tip: If you don't care about the size of the room or the bed , consider staying there !

We stayed there 1 night. The hotel has a good location. You can walk or you can have a bike from the hotel for visiting historical places. Bikes are free of charge. It would be good to have free wifi but you have to pay to have wifi. The breakfast is enough and the hotel is clean.

Quite a walk from the train station, around 15 minutes dragging suitcase. This hotel was ok.... The rooms were quite small, however they were clean. Other rooms were very close, and the self closing doors very noisy. Desk staff spoke little English. A good selection at breakfast.

This hotel was recommended in the Rough Guide so when there was just one room available for our dates, at short notice. I snapped it up - and we were glad we did. Yes, it lacks a bit of character but the upside of that is that the facilities and furnishings are very modern, and spotless. And yes, it's on a main road and is a bit noisy from the trams - but the obvious upside of that is that the trams are very close. However, the best thing is the position, and it isn't necessary to use public transport at all for the main sights. The rooms are a bit small, but the price is very reasonable for a city-centre hotel. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast buffet is varied and served in a very pleasant room, though our only slight quibble is that the coffee, orange juice and croissants are are usually better in Italian restaurants (but again, it's reasonably priced). The hotel doesn't do evening meals, but there is a superb restaurant next door that does - we went there for each of our five evenings! There is also, unusually for a city-centre 3-star hotel in our experience, a very pleasant bar. There is a charge for wifi but at least one nearby café has free wifi.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front will be noisy (ours was at the side) but the windows keep much of it out - I woul...

My husband and I stayed here for one night in September 2013. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Duomo so a good location - there are also nearby bars and restaurants for the evening. Our room was average - clean but very small - we had two large suitcases and we couldn't open them without them being on the bed. The staff were ok but spent a long time trying to get us to pay out €110 for a chauffer to Bergamo airport the next day, when we had already paid €10 for a shuttle bus. They were however helpful ordering us taxis and advising where we needed to go. One other strange event was that the lights in our room turned on in the middle of the night and woke us up and the next morning when we wanted the lights on they kept turning off on us. When we mentioned this to the staff on check out they just said maybe we hadn't put the key in properly! Not quite the reaction we were looking for. All in all an average hotel but In a good location to explore the city.
