Stayed in galileo for four nights with 2 babies. At first i was a little nervous since the reviews said its an old hotel. After we checked in, we were quiet surprised with how spacious our room is! Yes it is old, but it is very clean. The baby cot was a good one, it is a chicco, that was very sturdy, unlike what we got in other hotels.

Another thing that amazed us with the speedy service of the room service! They dont have water boiler in every room, hence we have to asked for hot water most of the times for our babies. They always came within 2 minutes! The breakfast was also very good with wide variations of fruits, breads, sausaged, eggs, yoghurts, juices.

In addition, the location is perfect! Only few steps from the duomo! If we go back to milan again, we will certainly be back to this hotel!

We paid around 200 usd/night, the location was great. But do not expect a 4 star service. The decoration and the rooms look medieval. They even have the big door lock keys from 80's. The wifi was slow, the breakfast was decent. I was a bit disappointed because the hotel needs a renovation and there was no service at all.

Nothing fancy or flashy about the hotel, but the good thing is it's in city center. Cathedral is at walking distance. Hotel room was nice and spacious. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was simple, with not much of a choice. Close to the hotel is Bus station with buses at good frequency to central train station, Airport.

The hotel is extremely well located at the city centre, meaning, one should spend very little time at the actual hotel.
The hotel itself is a bit of an antique, a change in pace from new modern hotels. This is not a bad thing as such, just very different. Even yhough the hotel has not been refurbished, the level of cleanliness is very good.

Staff at the hotel ate very freindly and warm.

This is not the hotel of your dreams, but it is a very serviceable hotel with an excellent locatio near the Cathedral. Breakfast is decent, although the coffee is mediocre. Rooms are comfortable but not chic. the hotel staff are very helpful. Parking for a car is quite close the hotel. The hotel is not cheap but not unreasonable either. Quite satisfactory.

I stayed in Hotel “Galileo” for five nights in January 2013. Although the furniture and design of the room were little bit old fashioned everything was very convenient and clean. Air conditioner was working well.
Bath room was equipped with the comfortable bathtub. TV set produced main Worlds’ channels.
Breakfasts were delicious with plenty of food. I visited the restaurant in the hotel one evening and found there good wine and food.
All personnel were very friendly and helpful and spoke English. The place where the hotel is situated is very convenient for the tourists. It takes only five minutes walking to get the Duomo Cathedral or San Babila Square. You can reach the Castle of Sforza for twenty minutes by walk. So, all so called must see places including La Scala Theatre, Brera and Ambrosiana Galleries, “The Golden Square” of High Fashion and main Basilicas are accessible by walking on yours own feet. Wire internet is available in the rooms and Wi-Fi in the restaurant and public areas of the hotel.
There are good coffee bar, pharmacy and canteen in front of the hotel on the other side of Corso Europa. If you don’t want to spend your money in the expensive restaurants you can have you lunches and suppers in that canteen. It works from 07:30 trough 22:00 hours daily. Traditional Italian pasti, antipasti, macaroni, deserts, wine, beer, tee and mineral water are available there

Stayed for 4 nights in December. The main thing about this hotel is its superb location at the historic centre of Milan within walking distance of San Babila station, the Duomo and where all the shopping action is. Plus it is located along a quiet street, and directly opposite is a pharmacy with minimart and also a self-service eatery. The room however was a bit stuffy. Wired internet connection for latop in the room and wifi only in the hotel lobby.
