We really liked this hotel located very near the Central Station. Rooms are clean and spacious; beds a little hard like most hotels in Italy. Nice street, it feels safe at all times. There are a few cafés and a small market nearby. Service is very good and friendly. They had no problem opening our bottle of wine, and lending us plates and utensils for our midnight snacks in the room.
Did I mentioned the great shower temperature control and water pressure?

Over the long and venerable years since its establishment, many VIPs have patronized the hotel: Fausto Coppi, the bicycle champion, prize-winning boxer Primo Carnera and Italian soccer stars during the sixties when the first player contracts were negotiated. ... more less
