“Affordable option with breakfast and parking”

The hotel grounds are lovely. Nice garden, restaurant on site. Breakfast in the morning is delicious! Fresh juices, delicious fruit tarts, nice variety of cold cuts.
The location is further away from the city center and there is not much nearby in terms of restaurants or shops. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel so you can get around.
The rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Wi-Fi signal is strong and there is a nice selection of TV channels to scroll through at night.

Due to a train strike we got in late at night and only could enjoy this hotel overnight, but it was just lovely. It took about 20 minutes by taxi to get to it from the train station but it was modern and very nicely appointed. It had been 98 degrees that day and because everyone in Milan was using the AC it shut down the grid to next to nothing, so we had no AC. We did have a big window in the room we opened but it was still stifling. The room was elegant and clean and the bath was huge and modern. If the AC had been on it would have been just lovely. The breakfast in the morning was quite a spread and had plenty of choices. The lady at the desk was very apologetic and helpful and gave us a discount for the inconvenience which was certainly appropriate given the room temperature and our lack of sleep because of it.

I'm a regular guest in this hotel. when I need to be in Milan to stay or to have a night stop, it's the place that I prefer.
Prices are decent. Breakfast is always really nice and abundant. Parking is also free of charge and important in a city.

We've paid far more for far less in a lot of places. Didn't feel 4-star-ish, to be sure, but as seasoned travelers on retirement incomes, we don't pay 4-star prices unless there is something special involved. We just needed decent digs in Milano for two nights. The express train to Cadorna station from Malpensa Airport and a €12 cab ride got us there efficiently.

Our room was very large and comfortable on an Italian old hotel standard... we even had decent reading lights by the bed. The wifi was excellent. The included breakfast was amazing. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The #2 bus stops a 200 yards up the street and connects you to everywhere. Tickets have to be purchased at the Tabacchi 100 yards further up, but buy several and that inconvenience goes away. The €1.50 ticket is good on bus, tram, & metro for 90 minutes.

And we were only a few blocks from Pizzeria Mio, which offered the best value dinner we've had in Italy this trip.

If we can get the same rate, I'll never stay anywhere else in Milano.

If you travel to Milan by car, the hotel offers free courtyard parking. As it is out of old city center, it offers wide public spaces and proximity to sexy Naviglio area. You have to take a bus and the tram to access city center (~35 mins). The breakfast is very basic - not for a 4*.
The reception is helpful and in general the hotel served its purpose.

It's not a 4 star! It's 3- star! I'm not happy staying there! Definitely NOT Worth the Price. Positive: good breakfast and sexy garden. Free parking is a plus in a city like Milan. That's it!

Negative:
- City tax is 5e/pers! Huge!
- Rooms are very very old, that's why they show only black/white photos...
- bathrooms from 2 star hotel!
- WiFi: they give you access for 8h, then you need to refresh password at lobby. Stupid with modern devices that are connected 24h/24.
I would not come back here as its not worth the money you pay. Needs renovation.

The hotel is old and sits on the riverfront, but is on a less than picturesque stretch of road. The rooms were clean, and the courtyard was quite nice.

Here's the bad stuff, though. The wifi is free...but requires a username and password that lasts only 8 hours and must be redeemed at reception in person. So, every day I had to return to reception to get a different pass for each of my connected devices. Not exactly convenient.

My room smelled like dead fish. There was an air freshened plugged in the wall, but it didn't cover the odor.

But the worst was returning to my room the first evening to discover it unlocked (I had checked several times to ensure that it was secured before leaving) and my valuables exposed to theft. I went to reception and politely informed them of the problem. The woman essentially yelled at me and told me only two people could have done it and she would tell them to be more careful. Nice. It was unlocked again the next evening.

Won't stay here again.
