“Remarkable.”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

I got out with a huge smile on my face and positive emotions. I spent only about an hour there and it was not enough. I will surely get back.

“Glad I saw”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

Did this as part of City tour of Milan. Glad I went with a tour guide rather than reserving on my own as the background and history made for a better viewing experience.

“Stunning”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

Visited this gallery by chance when we saw it while sitting in the shade in Piazza Scalla. Do not be deterred by the ordinary appearance from the street - the interior of the buildings and the collections are stunningly beautiful. The first gallery is a former bank which adjoins an older building, a former palace. The cafe is worth a visit as it has great coffee and pastries. Other benefit is the absence of hordes of visitors found on the publisised tourist itinerary.

“Gallerie d'Italia museum is not Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

I saw that many people wrote here commenting actually about Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (the gallery full of shops etc that goes from piazza Duomo to piazza della Scala.
Gallerie d'Italia is actually just a nice museum in piazza della Scala.

Just not to make people confused!
