Princi bakery is the perfect place to stop for coffee (or hot chocholata with soy milk in my case:). it has a huge variety of sweets pizzas and breads. everything is fresh and delicious and the service is excellent. i ate there almost everyday of my visit to Milan and had a wonderful time!

“Wonderful lunch at Princi”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

We found this place by using Rick Steve's snapshot guide for Milan. We ate at the location on Via Ponte Vetero, there is also one closer to the Duomo. Nice place for a quick lunch, lots of locals flying in for their lunch. You can select 2-3 items from a bar for a plate lunch and then get a dessert and coffee.

“Good value for a snack”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

This was a great find. As we were looking for something to nibble on before heading to a gelateria when we spotted the little blackboard that advertised a buffet for €7. What made this even better was getting a free drink with it as well.

Most people already there were drinking a spritzer but my wife settled for a prosecco and I had a beer. The buffet had a large selection from small baguette sandwiches to square-cut pizza's and salads. It was being replenished regularly as well so no lack of choice. You could revisit the buffet as many times as you like which, I think, makes this very good value for the €7.

The only small downer was the fact there were very few front of house staff so trying to organise the drinks took longer than getting and eating the food. That said the 2 waitresses that were serving were polite and friendly.
