We spent our last night in Milan at Chateau Monfort based on reviews that I read. It is a really gorgeous hotel with very welcoming staff in all areas. I loved picking a rabbit out out
out of a hat when we arrived. The rabbit I picked gave us complimentary breakfast which was very delicious. Our room was beautifully appointed and the bed comfortable. Well done to Licinio and all the staff at Chateau Monfort!

We stayed at Chateau Monfort in April for 4 nights during the Design Expo. Originally we had booked 3 nights but had such a great time we had to extend by 1 extra night. The hotel is brand new, having only opened in January the paint is literally fresh on the walls. Externally the hotel looks palatial but understated. The manager told us the building was deserted for 40 years until 3 years ago when they began to renovate it. The hotel has a feel of Alice in Wonderland, when arriving at reception the check-in clerk hands over to you a magicians hat out of which you pull out a paper bunny. On the bunny a surprise gift from the hotel. In our case it was free mini-bar for the stay- truly a pleasure to have. Service is highly attentive and friendly, from delivering your luggage to the room, through to breakfast, drinks, special requests- everything is answered for. Our room 012 on the ground floor was very big, large kind bed, a day bed, two chairs and a coffee table, a writing desk and ample storage and generous bathrooms. The rooms are each a bit different from the other but have lots of cool features best left explored when you stay there as I dont want to gibe away the surprise. The color scheme everywhere is pastel and works very well with all the high end LED light's utilized everywhere. The specification of the rooms and the hotel is top notch, a true 5 star experience. On the breakfast side the food was excellent, choice vast and price reasonable for central city hotel. Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we had in a long while. The hotel has over 70 rooms but feels more like a 20-30 room boutique as you get to recognize all the guests and the staff very quickly. The bar is buzzy in the evening and serves good quality drinks for reasonable prices. The hidden gem in the hotel is the rather unadvertised SPA. The SPA area is small but perfect for this size of hotel and location, a great Turkish Hammam, a Sauna, salt water pool and plenty of area to lie down and relax together with complimentary tea, water and fruits. An escape within an escape. I would say hand on heart there is no better place to stay in Milan at the moment. This hotel truly delivers a faultless service (the towels could be a bit softer) but other then that perfection all around. Would highly recommend and we already booked next year!

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground floor tend to be a bit noisey due to the central location and tram lines. Best a...

The hotel is amazing. All staff members were extremely friendly & professional, the whole place is immaculate and the food was great. Room quite quirky, but lovely. Location was perfect as well, 10 minutes walk into the town centre and some excellent restaurants nearby.

We stayed 3 days last week at the start of the Milan furniture fair - one of Milan's biggest trade shows. As a result, prices were high but we were well satisfied with the hotel. We were in a 'standard' room (108) which, even with plenty of luggage, didn't feel cramped. Our room (like the rest of the hotel) has a theatrical vibe. Colour palette is soft greys and pastels and very relaxing. Lighting system, AV and plumbing are all high quality and all worked well. Minor glitch - the glass wall of the shower cabin leaked and is damaging a small area of the wood flooring. Housekeeping retrieved and laundered a missing pyjama top that had been swept up in a change of the bedlinen. Front desk staff were unfailingly helpful and courteous and booked taxis and restaurants with great efficiency. Piazza San Babila, gateway to the shopping district, is 10 minutes on foot. It will be interesting to see how the hotel settles down and also how easy it will be to find a room next time we in Milan.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Chateau Monfort for 2 nights for business and as I stay in many 5 star hotels I was pleasantly suprised with the service, the comfortable beds and large walk in showers as well as the declious breakfast. they offered my favorite American cupcakes in the morning as well as fruit smoothies, all types of eggs and fresh fruit. Hats off to this owner for designing a hotel different in a style that has lots of imagination. I felt like I was staying in a palace and just waiting for my knight in shining armour to pick me up. the hotel's mascot is the rabbit which i thought was clever and adorable. will definitely come back it will be my new home in milan!

Lovely size rooms, beautifully decorated and lots of beautiful people. Even the staff uniforms were lovely. Everybody very welcoming and no need to open your own doors, there always seems to be someone available.
Only two gripes - shower has one of those clingy curtains that sticks to you and we came back one night to find the electronic key system to enter the room hanging out of the wall. Luckily we hadn't been broken into, they'd had electrical issues.

Room Tip: All rooms double glazed so no noise but ask to be away from the central staircase as it is marble an...

Stayed here for one night. I believe they had opened since a month or so. Unfortunately due to this, they had a hotel event during my stay. I felt like a second class citizen when arriving. Eventhough an isolated event, this continued on my floor with herds of people parading the hallways visiting the hotel.

The room was ok. A bit small but comprehensible in Milan. The lighting controls, music etc are well thought out and WORK. Lots of amenities in the bathroom.
