Like others who have previously reviewed this hotel, we found the staff at the hotel to be great. In particular the manager who was the first Italian local we had the pleasure of meeting. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

First, getting there from airport was a breeze even with our carryon. No taxi needed.
The hotel faces a park and the location is quiet and pretty. Just three blocks away is a busier street with restaurants, shops, farmacias and the entrance to the subway system that will take you everywhere including the Duomo. Do not miss the Duomo.
The staff is very nice and speak much better English than I speak Italian. We stored our bags and headed out to see the sights.
Our room had a small balcony. The size of our roo, was perfect for two.
Breakfast was fine for me but not if you need three egg scrambled, hash browns and sausage. There was fruit, yougurt, hard boiled eggs, cheese, pastries, sliced meat, cereal, juice. Coffee drinks were available at a very reasonable charge.
AND Milan is lovely. Much less crowded and less a tourist trap than Venice or Rome. More affordable and enjoyable.

Dear Sir,

thanks for the nice review and for having so well described our strategic position with respect to the airport, the metro and the main tourist attractions of Milan. Also the fact of being immersed in a residential area away from the chaos, but very close to everything you want to see.
We are also proud that you loved our city, first of all, the symbol that each milanese has in his heart : the Duomo.
We hope you can return soon to Italy and that you'll consider our hotel as a point of reference for your next stay in Milan.

Best regards from all the Staff

This is my 5th night in the hotel. The room is small, but I'm a single traveler, so it is perfectly adequate. Room is very clean. Breakfast is bountiful, with many choices. I chose the hotel because it is very close to a Metro stop (Loreto) and only two stops away from the Stazione Centrale--I arrived by train. The staff member who checked me in was Alex (Alessandro), and he has been very helpful and has a good sense of humor. He suggested a couple of places to eat nearby, both of which I tried and liked, and he recommended a different way of getting to the airport (I am leaving by air) than I had originally planned on. I am following his recommendation. I took a day trip to Stresa, and reserved a train ticket on the Internet. Alex helped by pulling the reservation up on his computer and then printing out the ticket for me. If I were to return, I would stay at the Hotel Florence, and I would hope that Alex would still be here.

If you are not super picky, this hotel would be a right choice for you. I travel to Milan mainly for shopping so I don't need too many facilities :) I just don't have enough time to use them :)
The hotel is close to Loreto station and Corso Buenos Aires if you are interested in some budget shopping. The restaurants in the area are nice and cheap.
The room was quite simple but had everything you might need for a short stay and even a small balcony :) Breakfast included cheese, sausage, various kinds of bread, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc. The staff was very helpful, though not everyone spoke English.
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi but passwords are valid for 24 hours and for one device so you'd better get as many passwords as possible at check-in ;)
By the way, there is a great and very popular chain gelateria near Loreto called GROM.
Overall, it was a nice stay and I'll definitely stay there again.

Dear customer,

Thank you for your positive opinion and have described so well our convenient location close to the main shopping streets. A few minutes walk from Corso Buenos Aires, 2 km of shops for all budgets, and only 5 minutes by subway from Via della Spiga, Via Montenapoleone and Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where you can find the best Italian designers boutiques and not only.
Our three-star hotel, with its comforts and services adapted to its category, host a lot of customers who visit Milan for shopping. Twice a year, during sales, we offer very attractive promotional rates. We also provide all the information to easily get to outlets outside Milan (Serravalle, Fox Town, VicoLungo, etc. ..)
We'll wait to have you as our guest again in the future.

Kind regards from all the Staff

Great rooms, comfortable and very clean. Alex, the 'King', the Manager, is most helpful and just so very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he went out of his way to help us with how to get around the city, and recommended a good restaurant nearby. The breakfast is fantastic with lots of choice in a charming area in the hotel. A highly recommended hotel. Thank you Hotel Florence and Alex.

Upon entering Milan and knowing only that it is in the centre we just put name of this hotel to our Sat-nav system and never looked back. We were greeted by the friendliest staff and booked room on the spot. Everything we asked regarding our Milan ventures staff at the reception was only too happy to answer and helped us how to navigate and locate our desired attractions. We also had parking spot in the courtyard of the hotel which was a big relief. Situated only approx.2 blocks from Metro station, we walked to a Loreto Stop and we took M1 line to a San Babila, where Duomo,Teatro Alla Scala and Milano Galleria are.
Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was small but interestingly had a decent sized shower with all amenities. Hotel has a free WIFI. Our room featured AC and a ceiling fan. Night sleep was uninterrupted, as neighbourhood is really quiet. Beds were comfortable to sleep. Breakfast was delicious and had good assortment. I would gladly stay again in this hotel if I went back to Milan.

Didn't do too much research before visiting Milan and just booked this hotel for my friend and I. The hotel was located just 2 x blocks from the Loreto Subway stop and not too far from the shopping district. We were only there for a weekend to catch up after a long time and had booked 2 x single rooms. The rooms are spacious enough and have a decent sized shower. There is A/C too which was great on a hot weekend in July. The staff are all very friendly and the breakfast was varied and plenty. I'd stay here again if I went back to Milan. The hotel dining recommendation were also very good.
