Stayed at the Grand Visconti for a weekend with celebrating our wedding anniversary. The staff were excelent and went beyond the call of duty to ensure we had a great time. The concierge were very helpful before our arrival suggesting places of interest and helped us find an excellent restaurant whislt we were there.

I will certainly be going back.

Although the Hotel is a 4* but the moment you enter the lobby and rooms you can definetly elevate it to 4++. Sevice is wonderful, location is easily accessable from the autostrad if you are a type of person the likes to wonder around in short trips like Lake Como, Bellagia, Verona and don't miss Lazece (a real cool place). Also you are 40 minutes from Lugano. One catch you have to take care if you arrive with a car, hotel parking price is a killer 29 EUR per night + 8 EUR Tax. after two nights I figured out Milan's parking procedure (special scratch cards) then I started using it.

Now coming to dining, (Trattoria de la Trebia- via trebbia, 32) best steaks. (Pane Vino- Largo Carrobbio, nice music while dining, lovely pasta and seafood). Then if you are a sushi lover don't miss (IZU- Corso Lodi, 27).

Just returned from a fantastic stay here, hotel is beautiful, nothing to fault. From entering that hotel I was greeted by the lovely concierge staff and no matte who was on shift, they all were the same. Stayed here b&b, reception staff helpful and attentive, bar staff excellent and polite, fun too. Nothing any trouble to them, rooms were lovely and well equipped. Modern interior throughout and classy. Wish I had longer here to benefit from the gardens and health suite. Breakfast was a proper continental choice of varied foods and pastries were the favourite. Traveled with friends and family, who all agreed the was an excellent choice for accommodation. Location I travelled from Linate airport was quoted 40 euro, and some taxi firms quote 60 euro online. I traveled alone and n arrived at Linate airport, approached the taxi's and was quoted 20 euro, on arrival at hotel 17.50 . euro. Metro was a 2 minute walk from the hotel and for 8.25euros we got a metro pass unlimited for 2 days and used it constantly to see the city. Great place, staff, foods and definitely will return. You will not be disappointed with this accommodation. :-)

Stayed with business for a week in March '13, had the pleasure of the Lazio team in the hotel which added some excitement in an otherwise uneventful stay.

This is a traditional Italian hotel that has managed to keep many of its original features, including providing a family run atmosphere whilst still delivering the corporate, modern day requirements hotels need to deliver to stay competitive.

Located a 15min walk from the centre with good access to the metro, plenty of restaurants all within walking distance.

Rooms where a fair size, bathrooms again modern yet still traditional with their marble fittings.

Only ate breakfast here but it was fresh and varied.

Would definitely recommend for a business, vacation or family stay.

I have just spent a long weekend in Milan and the next time I am here, I will absolutley want to stay again at this hotel. I loved everything about my stay, from the warm and friendly staff to the wonderful spa treatments. The hotel is located about 8 mins from the centre of the city by metro, which was ideal. All in all it was truly perfect.

There are many aging overpriced hotels in Milan and this isn't one of them. It's a short walk from the Lodi metro station and also from Porta Romana where there plenty of nice restaurants and cafes/bars. Much better than staying in the area closer to the Milano Centrale station. Rooms are comfortable, clean and up to date. There is a separate concierge for booking restaurants that gave us some good recommendations for dining late on a Sunday night. Breakfast had a good choice of sweet, savory and hotfood and they made a decent cappuccino. I am so glad to have found a decent good value hotel in Milan. I will definitely be returning.
