“This is the hotel!”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

Spent a couple of days with them. Fell in love with the city and of course Bvlgari hotel influenced our opinion pretty strongly. The quality of service, the beauty of our room and the luxury and the convenience of the hotel itself helped to create that unique image of Milano, just the way I saw it in my dreams. This is THE HOTEL!

staff all very helpful and friendly
centrally located for the designer shops, Brera design district and centre of town but away from the hustle and bustle of Milan. Located in a quiet cul de sac with a lovely and quiet outdoor area.
decor, very stylish, contemporary using dark colours and lots of wood and marble.

Bathrooms very luxurious, great Bulgari green tea products, large shower, separate wc with its own sink. bath with green tea candle lit every evening.
My family all loved the towels which were unusually large for a hotel

Beautiful spa and swimming pool

My kids loved the free jars of assorted sweets in the lounge
We liked the bowls of strawberry and refreshing iced tea in the lounge.
We also liked the evening treats left in the room, one night given fresh hazelnut meringues. Rooibos tea left every night alongside excellent Florentine plain chocolate and a Bulgari evening mini scent

Quality of food and presentation in the restaurant excellent and preferable to some of the restaurants reccomended by the concierge. Service friendly and efficient, loved the Skelton metal tea pots. Everything down to the smallest item of China has been carefully designed and sourced.

I know its not cheap and the rooms are not huge but all the our family agreed it was an absolute treat to stay at the Bulgari and we will do so again next time we are in Milan.

while i was in Milan 6 months ago i have visited this hotel with my friends and had the best lunch experience in my life. last month i decided to get to Milan again for a quick trip and actually stay in that fabulous hotel. everything is of high quality, REALLY value for money. the hotel is 1 min away on foot from monte napoleone and it is an oasis in the heart of Milano. words can't describe the feeling when you get there. big trees, smell of flowers, cleanest hotel ever, bulgari smell everywhere, very friendly staff especially at the restaurant, exquisite spa and one of the best breakfast i had for years. if you are planning a trip to Milano i highly recommend you planning a visit even only for a quick coffee or a drink!

Room Tip: ask for a high floor room!!! spectacular view from the window when you wake up!!!!!!!!

We had two nights here in August, myself, husband and 2 teenagers. We have stayed at Aman, Four Seasons etc and thought we were coming to something similar but all said and done, it just doesn't quite reach those standards.

First the good news. It is a lovely site, green and private. It has good standards of room and public areas. NO argument there. the two restaurants suggested to us were lovely.

But there were constant little issues which is why for the price, I felt it was 3 out of 5.

In no real order - service in the restaurant outdoors was haphazard. Having to ask for things a few times, orders were wrong (a gin martini which specified one type of gin came back as a ginger martini! funny but having to wait another 15 mins for a drink after waiting 15 already is not fun), my kids asked for one sort of breakfast and then got given things they had not ordered but had to pay for etc etc. Annoying. No hooks in the bathrooms for robes or a place to hang towels. Reading light by bed is so high up that it disturbs the other person when on. the TV played Bulgari promotions all the time and every time we turned it off, it was back on when we re-entered the room. The spa pool is indoor and the jacuzzi was cold - well, 32 degrees which is no good when trying to warm up from a swim. The steam room was a bit warmer but still leaves you wet and cold when you leave - there is no sauna. OUr room keys kept not working and had to be reissued. the wi fi pass only works for 24 hours then you have to renew. etc etc

as I said, little things but they were irksome when you expect a smoother experience.

Nothing that cannot be fixed either

I hope they are. The staff had a willing attitude which I did like.

My title is not hyperbole. I was wondering when I was checking in why travelers were hugging the staff as they checked out. After just one night there, I understood. The desk staff is just the nicest I have ever encountered and helpful beyond belief. The hotel is modern, immaculate, and centrally located so I never needed a cab to go shopping, to the Duomo, etc. Everything is walking distance. Top of the line Bvlgari amenities are in the room and the tub was devine, complete with bubble bath tea bag, incense, and candle. My only criticism would be that I would have appreciated if the driveway up to the hotel was lit at night when walking back. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

I recently stayed for one night at the beginning of a vacation in the Bulgari Hotel. I had previously always stayed at the Four Seasons, but the Bulgari is a winner! The garden in summer (and I bet in spring and fall) is magical--the perfect way to wind down the day with a drink and they keep bringing you bar food. The rooms are lovely, modern, and sleek without being cold. My room faced the garden but there was no problem with noise from diners. The bathroom was wonderful with a huge tub which made me want to take a bath even though I am a shower person. The service was truly wonderful--from the people at the front desk to the people in the dining area who were fabulous! The breakfast was terrific and their were wonderful snacks in the lounge area. And of course there is a nice little gym. I loved this hotel!

A super hotel, very classy with attentive staff and fabulous facilities. The location is just about perfect being just a 5 minute walk to Armani Square and the main shopping area and just 10 mins from Plaza Del Duomo. The room, the towels, the linens, the Bulgari soaps and bathroom products were all excellent. The bar area and decked garden has a really nice feel and is clearly the place to see and be seen for locals at the weekend. The food served at the restaurant was perhaps a little too fussy for us but nonetheless enjoyable. Prices are expensive and this is to be expected with this type of hotel. My only word of caution would be that there are mosquitos aplenty in the garden and both me and my wife have returned from a very enjoyable 4 day break with some nasty bites. If you are the sort to be bitten, go prepared.
