If you love high quality brands and being seen then this is the place to be! The cars parked outside tell you about clientele - always at least a couple of Ferrari's, several Porche's and high end Mercedes at all times!! This is a lovely stylish and fabulously renovated and appointed old palazzo with fabulous service and a perfect location.

It's a block from each of La Scala, the Castle and the top shopping streets of Milan are just around the corner. While it's very centrally positioned it's also in a quiet back street next to the botanical garden in a perfect quiet little enclave surrounded by greenery that attracts the Milanese in the know for afternoon drinks in the green and secluded garden.

Our deluxe booking was upgraded but room still small, it had a small walk in robe and an unusual layout in the bathroom with a spa bath, shower/double sinks and finally toilet/ bidet in a line. It had a minute balcony that allowed us to open the long doors to a lovely view. My advice is choose a larger room as we will on our next stay. The view over the garden is lovely and it's quiet and peaceful.

Service was friendly, warm, professional and efficient, everyone greeted us and mostly by name, concierge deserves special mention of excellent knowledge and assistance, several nice touches like Lollie's avaiable in the lounge, Internet connection excellent. It has a spa and we saw the occasional random guest in bathrobe but most guests dressed appropriately in public areas!

Restaurant was fabulous for A La Carte breakfast and lunches -I however service sometimes off as one morning our toast was forgotten and next morning bacon forgotten. Minor issues.

We rented bikes through the hotel with a guide which was easy and reccomended especially the guide if you are from out of town as the roads and cobblestones and tram tracks are challenging to negotiate and it's impossible to navigate at the same time if like me you are not the most confident rider.

Room Tip: Room overlooking botanic garden private and lovely

The Bulgari is a sleek, modern hotel ideally located in a quiet neighborhood in close proximity to the fashion district and La Scala. By far the number one thing you'll note about the hotel is the warm, helpful staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and ensure a pleasant stay. From the doorman who greets you, the front desk at reception, the concierge and the remainder of the employees, you will receive special attention. We were there at either end of our Italy vacation. When we returned a week later they remembered us and greeted us as famiglia. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and wonderful showers/bathrooms. The amenities were top drawers. They have a an outdoor lounge in a garden setting that welcomes you to linger and enjoy. When they say that you are very important to us, they mean it. The concierge, via emails, helped us with tickets to the opera and travel reservations prior to our arrival. The Bulgari should offer a course in customer service to other hotels. Grazie mille!

Do not book room 106. The dumpster collects the rubbish at 6am. Nice oasis to be woken up to. If you asked to change, they will send you to room 427; a room that is for assisted patrons. Then wwhen you complain... the female duty manager, advises you will be credited by a free night...and never gets back to you... so much for italian hospitality...

Room Tip: Read above. Happy to send photos

Dear Guest,
I am so sorry for the inconveniences you have experienced during your recent stay at the Bulgari. It is truly unlucky that you had a noise issue in the morning, please rest assured that it was a totally isolated event. In fact, as you know, the hotel sits in the middle of an amazing garden, tucked away in a private street with no direct access to any traffic or streets, quite a unique feature in the center of a city like Milano. Normally the dumpster comes at 9am, precisely to avoid this type of inconveniences, this is a special pick-up service we specifically pay the city for. During your stay they certainly made a mistake. What a pity that the only room available to move you in was one of our “accessible” rooms facing the garden. Unfortunately as the room numbers you mention are incorrect, as 106 is in a very quiet spot and 427 does not exist, I was unable to identify your booking/stay. If you would be so kind as to send me a note on my e-mail: attilio.marro@bulgarihotels.com I will be more than happy to process the refund as promised. Please accept my most sincere apologies if this has not been already processed.
Kind regards,
Attilio Marro

This very nice and contemporary trendy hotel is the perfect place when in Milano. You enter a small gated road with luxury apartments and at the end you will find beautiful gardens part of this wonderful hotel. The service is outstanding and you can enjoy breakfast on the fantastic terrace. You don't feel like you are in the city and its great for work or pleasure since its in the heart of the city. Best of the best !

Room Tip: The rooms are modern and with very good taste.

I always went to Milan in April for the Salone del Mobile. And the Bulgari Hotel had been always fully booked for that ocasion. And this year I incidentlly found a time slot available for booking and stayed there for one night before heading back home. There are three "similer" hotels in that neighborhood that could interests me. They are Bulgari, Amarni, and Four Seasons. I didn't stay in other two other than walking around lobbys and corridors. But I still think Bulgari is the most interesting one with the best design taste. Although it should not be the same taste to everyone. The concept for the hotel is excellent. The hotel has three linked blocks integreted nicely with a quite garden just off the buzy luxury shopping streets. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room, whose main features and design has been well published, is not large but spacious. The layout and design of the room are as good as expected. I probably stayed in one of the most "basic" room but still feel the luxuary. Luxuary not in terms of expensive materials, but by the way how those materials are skifully cordinated.
There is only one restaurant in the hotel and it was always filled by outside guests. So there is a chance hotel guests have to wait for a table. I did wait for half an hour sitting at the bar counter to get a table for dinner. But the foods were as good as it should be. The breakfast was not included in my more than thousand Euro room rate. Of course after paying 1000+ Euro, paying another 35 Euro should not be a real complaint. But what you missed was the sense of hospitality you always expect from a good european hotel. The SPA/swimming pool is another highly published place in this hotel. But I was a little bit disappointed to find out that it was not as big as its images. And the changing room and shower was even smaller. But staff there were really nice and polite. They offer me a good rest after checking out the hotel befor my long journey home.

Room Tip: All rooms should be good. But try to avoid rooms facing the entrance passage way.

Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for your comment, I was pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay with us during the furniture fair and its incredible atmosphere and do apologize for the long wait you encountered. We have recently completed a renovation in all our of our rooms and will be doing the same for the spa during the month of August.
Hoping to have you back with us soon.
