Traditional italian restaurant: best quality food, cooked in a simple healthy way. I definitely advice the meat and the vegetables. Also fried courgette flowers and starters are good!! Atmosphere is good for a group of friends or family that value the food more than decor.

Went midweek evening to a warm welcome. Shown to a spacious table in the garden area so was very good atmosphere.

We had all ordered the same - a selection of antipasti followed by their famous "Fiorentino".

Service was fast and efficient - almost too fast at times! The ham and melon was my favourite. Good quality ham like this is not often served. The aubergine fritters and simple thin crust pizza were superb.

The presentation of the fiorentino was stunning and cooked to perfection - very Italian and not for those who like well done!

Simply fabulous would return anytime!

We were wondering around in the rain, looking for a restaurant to have our last dinner in Milan.
We spotted the red awning at a distance. It was so dark, we couldn’t read the menu.
Cold and hungry we decided to chance it!
The first room was nice, but very warm. Then, there is the second room, which was a very large enclosed “outdoor” area, which they called giardino (garden), full of plants, heated and very comfortable!
There is a wood fire between the 2 rooms and a table with the most delicious antipasti we’ve had in Italy.
We chose the antipasti, filling our plates with meatballs, artichokes and grilled vegetables.
We also shared a steak for main course, which they very kindly presented in 2 plates, without been asked.
Hard to believe we were still in Milan with such friendly and professional service!
We had wine by the glass and bread was part of the cover charge.
We wondered what the giardino would look like when the vines above are all green and the flowers in bloom.
This is an ideal restaurant for a large gathering.
Just before we left, a group of about 100 very smartly dressed people arrived and the waiter told me they worked for one of the great French fashion houses.
This was a memorable way to say goodbye to Milan!

We were send here on a Friday by the proprietor of hotel Aramis, and we were welcomed. When we arrived it wasn't busy yet (around 2000) but it gradually started to fill up. They take tables on Friday and Saturday in two sittings, we were in the early sitting, but that meant vacating the table by 2130.
There was not a menu, but from the meal of people around us it appeared it was possible to dictate a choice. Anyway our meal started with a mix of antipasti - bruschetta, prosciutto with melon, pizza biancha and a few other things followed by a trio of pasta (in our case penne alla bolognese, gnocchi with Gorgonzola and strozzi). Then came the secondo, a nice bistecca alla fiorentina (like a t-bone to share). We were offered some pudding, I declined but my father and brother had a lemon sorbet.
The whole meal was rounded of with some coffees and limoncello. In the mean time we had two bottles of reasonable chianti and water ... For all this we paid 45 euros per person. Perhaps not the cheapest, but reasonable value and definitely a good meal and we enjoyed it very much.

We had the full monty here, antipasto misto, primi and secondi, but no space for dessert. It was the best food I had in a very very long time! We were also in their back garden which was roofed (it being April, that was quite good) and it was a lively atmosphere with loads of Italians coming here for dinner. We absolutely loved it and also thought service was very good. Considering the price came to under 40 Euros per person when we had plenty of wine and water as well was just the icing on the cake. Wow! Thank you Giovanni!
