Paola, the owner of this B&B, has a real instinct for detail. A lot of thought has been given to the design and decor of her rooms, which are modern, stylish and very comfortable. During our three night stay, Paola was extremely kind and helpful, giving us information about her home city, restaurant recommendations and other useful information. She gave us a map of Milan on which she highlighted useful bus and tram routes and made several restaurant bookings for us, which was very helpful as we do not speak Italian.
Our room ('New York'; there's another called 'London') was immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c was quiet and effective. The room was thoroughly cleaned and tidied each day.
Paola's breakfasts are a real treat, and include fruit, yogurt, home-made granola, home made bread and jams, cold meats and smoked salmon, not to mention her lovely home-made Milanese crostata.
The sights of Central Milan are a short tram-ride from the B&B (Number 14!).
Very highly recommended.More
