This Piazza is named after and dedicated to a famous Italian architect and designer. It is round and surrounded by tall skyscrapers. There are a few shops around the piazza and there is a supermarket below street level. There are several things to see: the skyline of Milan with its new buildings, a sculpture composed of bronze pipes that let you hear the sounds of the levels below, 3 big fountains, the "Solar Tree' which uses solar energy to power its lights. Come here and spend an hour. Or more if it's a sunny day or you want to shop.

A short distance from Porta Garibaldi station this is a great place to spend a half hour or so wandering about. Architectecture on a grand scale, a really wacky art installation that consists of long trumpets that connect 1, 2 or 3 floors which you can sing or speak into all make for an interesting place to visit whilst waiting for a train . The Piazza is connected to the station by a pedestrian walkway. Not far away there is an area of quite a few restaurants also

This place is amazing. Brilliant skyscrapers, good shops and amazing atmosphere. Defintely worth a visit if you come in Milan, old and new town in few metres. The neighbourhood is changing fast, it's becoming the new heart of Milan.

It's something you don't expect to find in Italy. Enclosed between the new skyscrapers of Porta Nuova (Unicredit towers by Cesar Pelli, Solaria and Diamante, PL, Bosco Verticale). this new plaza offers a wide variety of stores and entertainment. Nike store Milano, Feltrinelli media stores and restaurant, Grom Gelato store (traditional Italian ice-cream), Costume National, Sephora and a Supermarket are some of the attractions. A big fountain with benches all around and ice skating rink complete the offer of this innovating and constantly changing space. Close to Milan Central Station and served by two metro lines (M2 and new M5) it's absolutely easy to reach, just few metres from Corso Como nightclub district and Eataly new concept store. The city center is close too. It's for Milan what Sony Centre is for Berlin or Rockfeller center for New York...A big park is to be opened just adjacent to the complex.

Ice-skating rink, Christmas market, lights, and a tree of lights made this stop worth it for me. Right near the Curso Comi
