“The perfect mix between Naples and Milan!”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

In these days we had a guest from London and we wanted he enjoyes a truly Italian dinner: we did the right choice. At the "Non è peccato" you find the elegance of Milan with the warmth and the taste of a genuine Neapolitan cooking. The staff is very professional, starting from the owner who welcome you as at her home. Here you really perceive the passion and the art of welcome. We started with a taste of parmigiana, frittini, alici and a selection of mozzarella, provola and ricotta: amazing... Then we had Spaghetti alla Nerano and Paccheri Pecorino & Cozze: you cannot miss them. We could continue but we chose to pass directly to the dessert: here forget the diet and simple "sin"! We will come back for sure (even without guests) just for the pleasure to spend a very relaxing meal surrounded by the Naples and Ischia atmosphere. Last thing: it is a very value for money restaurant!

“Excellent”
Reviewed 30 April 2013

A pleasant surprise. This place was steps away from our hotel and we discovered it after walking by the more touristy places in the nearby pedestrian area. Although we had no soup or nuts, it was excellent from soup to nuts, as the saying goes. Our best meal in Milan.

“A must!”
Reviewed 14 April 2013

The food highlights dishes of southern Italy, so interesting variations on dishes with eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes, fresh "pescato" and mozzarella dominate the menu. Here's your chance, too, to sample southern Italian wines from as-yet-unknown regions like Campania. The staff is friendly and professional. The ambiance is very soft and elegant.

“Very pleasant evening‏”
Reviewed 14 April 2013

I went to this restaurant last Wednesday and I was turned away because we didn't have a reservation, the place was fully booked!
I made a reservation for the day after, I was told that the restaurant gets quite busy around 10pm or later, also because of Theater-goers coming out of the Scala,
so we booked for 8pm as I like a quite atmosphere. The food was delicious, the menu was out of the ordinary...not the usual risottos' that you eat in Milan, they told me that the cuisine was from Southern Italy and that's the reason why is also quite rich in flavor, not a good restaurant if you are on a diet.
The fish pasta was delicious, the catch of the day was really fresh and the doughnuts were a nice completion to the meal. The house wine was very reasonably priced and really pleasant on the palate. The bill was fair considering the location, I went to 2 other restaurants in Brera and they were much more expensive.
I would recommend it if you visit Milan because it is not an average restaurant, the interiors are really cosy, stylish and the staff goes out of their ways to please you.

Went there a tuesday night, in a empty restaurant.
The Food was ok, unproffesionel waiter but very friendly. A super Nice minimalistic restaurant with two floors.
Wine was ok, but No explanation What so ever.
In general an ok experience.
