Although this Hotel is cheap, we had an unpleasant stay at what looks more as an Hostel than Hotel. The staff is unhelpful and rude. The matress of the bed was terribly soft and unconfortable. The so call ''breakfast'' consisted of a poor croissant and cheap biscuits without coffee. No internet access was available, the AC was unpluged even if it was 25 degrees outside and the noisy tramway bus passing consistenly in the street refreined us from opening the window and so on..

I strongly recommand to add an extra 20 Euros and stay at Ibis Hotel accross the street. Take my advise as this was a big mistake to book at Siena Milan...

Room Tip: Go somewhere else...

A hotel with strategic location. All the major attractions are very close by & Milan Centrale station as well. However the smell was TERRIBLE. Are people allowed to smoke in the building or in the rooms? The smell went away on the second day, and I left on the third day. Breakfast was bad. One chocolate croissant + cereal + toasts in a bag + milk + juice in powder. I had to use google translate on the second day to say that I wanted coffee because he didn't even mention that he had it. The guy in the morning doesn't try to communicate and does't try to help. Of course, no english! only italian! The guy from Egypt was very nice and kind.. gave me a map and tried to explain things in Milan. There is a sign about the internet and the fees, but the problem is that the computer they have in the lobby works for nothing. They don't fix it and they don't take the sign off the wall. I struggled myself without internet.
I could hear everything from the hallway, people entering their rooms, women outside on high heels, people talking from the street, the trolley cars that run 1am, all the kind of noise.
As I mentioned, it was not a nightmare, but I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel... as well as I won't come back again.

A Budget hotel with strategic location. All the major attractions are very close by & Milan Centrale station as well. You can catch Metro trains from walkable distance, trams run from just outside of the hotel. Small rooms coupled with extremely small bathrooms makes things a bit complicated. AC facility is available in each room though you have to additional charges. Basic features such as TV, shower in bathroom, etc. are available. Lot of restaurants nearby gives lot of good options.

After checking in earlier that day, my friends and I returned to Hotel Siena at around 12 AM after going out for a late dinner and some drinks. There is no curfew for the hotel, so this shouldn't have been a problem. However, The man at the front desk refused to open the door for us and told us to go away. We showed him our room key and gave him our name to look up in the system. He refused to do so and we stood outside for 45 minutes in the rain. The staff here is HORRIBLE. They are extremely rude and unaccomodating. They nearly ruined our trip to Milan by arguing with us and giving us a terrible impression of Italians. Additionally, the rooms were freezing, unclean, and the walls are paper thin. We heard a loud group of men blasting music and speaking loudly until almost 4 AM. All of this might not have been bad if we had felt even slightly safe. However, one of those men kept knocking on our door and shaking the door knob during the night. When we mentioned it to the staff they once again told us we could leave. I truly feel as though we were disrespected by the hotel staff and I believe we should have received a refund. I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone- ever!

I liked this hotel, it is clean and and cost only £20 a night pp.
Had to insist that I paid by card though, as the owner was keen for cash, however he took my card when I insisted I had no cash! The room was clean and spacious for the 2 of us. It had plenty of storage space, a tv, shower in room (even though we paid for shared bathroom!) and a sink. The toilet was at the end of the hall, but we didn't mind that.
Location is pretty central, and easily walkable to the nearest metro stations....it's located between Republicca and p.Venizia. There's not much to do directly near the hotel, but I like a wander, so didn't mind!
The internet was 1.50Euro for half an hour, n the breakfast wasn't too bad considering the price.
I would recommend this place, if you're looking for a cheap hotel, central and friendly.

its a good little budget hotel. We had room for 3, which although was small, did the job, for the price we paid, about £30 a nght each, was good. Had been warned surrounding area - stazione centrale could be dangerous at night, but we had no problems, just made sure we got taxi\'s. There\'s not loads to do in the immediate surroundings, it seems more of a business district TBH, but there are still few cute cafe\'s to stop for a bite 2 eat or coffee, note that the nice cafe\'s nearby are towards repubblica not up towards the staion. The hotel is located in backstreets in between caentral station and repubblica Metro. we always went from repubblica as nicer walk. Its only a few stops from duomo, which is the center of everything, seems like u have to change there wherever u wanted to go.

breakfast served 7-10 am, it is a coffee and pastry/croissant, and some of the small toasted bread sliced u get individually packed, so popular in italy, with selection of jams. There is no lift, so u do have to carry ur bags up flight of stairs, but didnt bother me.

Also, visit Lake Como if u can, just an hr by train from cordona station, whcih is pretty central to Milan.

A good club for young people to go to is called - Old Fashioned. Its on the edge of parc sempione and open air, with good music, if you like popular and dancey stuff. A taxi back from this club cost us about 10-12 euro\'s.

booked thru Hostel World, as was cheaper than directly through hotel!
