Only stayed in Milan one night as we were passing through via train. This hotel is extremely close (1.5 blocks) from Milano Centrale, so it's very easy to walk here with luggage. I know one reviewer said they saw a sign, but we did not. Given other guests confusion near the door as we were leaving, I think you should focus on the address rather than a big sign. You need to go to the door marked "2" and there you will find buzzers for multiple businesses. Push their button and they will buzz you into the building. From there, get on the elevator and you will see their business marked with the floor. Once we looked off the elevator, we still weren't sure if we were in the right place heh. But once you go in, you will see the check-in desk on your left.
The room was clean and had sufficient room for the 4 of us. Hubby and I had a queen bed and our sons each had a twin. There is a wardrobe to hang clothes in and racks for suitcases. There is also a desk/chair in the room, but no sofa. Great free wifi connectivity. Air conditioning was great. The bathroom does not have a tub or shower stall; it is one of those open air tiled rooms with a detachable shower nozzle. Didn't have any problems with water going everywhere as long as you didn't put the high water pressure on full. There is a soap dispenser on the wall and a hair dryer. There is no fridge in the room, but they graciously allowed us to put our warm 2-liter in the refrigerator out in the lobby. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
The complimentary breakfast was Danishes, cereal, toast-able breads, small fresh mozzarella balls (delicious on toast!), and the like. They even had a cappuccino machine.
This is a great little hotel for those who wish to stay near Milano Centrale. If you need to get to Porto Garibaldi, there is a taxi stand one block north. Just a couple Euro more than the metro (if you have luggage), but so much easier.
