My son and I stayed at this location during our trip to Italy. We found this hotel to be fantastik. The rooms were very clean and modern. The staff (Luigi) was exceptionally kind, patient, and helpful.

Hotel was clean. Upgraded room to a junior suite and was promised 2 hours of free wi fi a day plus free tea/coffee
Discovered the free wi fi voucher was for 2 hours of continuous use. ie from the moment you log in you have two hours. You cannot use on and off throughout the day
Got to room. No cups in room to make tea. No milk or milk sachets. Only one team bag/coffee sachet per make. Rang room service to ask for cup, milk and some more tea. Nothing happened. Could have been a language problem?
Location good but currently right in the middle of a major building site. Wasn't noisy in the night though!
Asked Reception desk for restaurant recommendation - which was excellent. Also asked for help with seeing some local sites. They didn't seem keen on booking for me - so not 100% helpful.

I just returned from a business trip to the Milan area and had 2 nights for tourism. From the moment I checked in, the staff was extremely helpful and tried their best to make sure my questions were answered and even threw in some good suggestions on how to spend my free time. Very nice room, excellent bathroom and mattress. The breakfast is very good and the best is that the Metro AND the train to Malpensa airport is a 5 minute walk away. Their is construction going on in that area so the tunnels under the street can be slightly confusing, but once you get that clear, the trips back and forth from the city center are easy. Truth be told, the walk to the Duomo area was not that far and I did it the first day and was able to see many sights. Will return on future business trips.

As previously mentioned, this hotel is a bit out of the center but the metro is within 5 minutes. Room was large and clean. Liked the hardwood floor with rug setup. Got a king room and it also had a large sitting area with a sofa and coffee table. Got free internet via elite status and that worked well. Staff is friendly. For the money, can't beat it.

OK, the first impression as you enter the hotel is Italian design - lacquered red vases, a couple of huge gongs, dark wood - good, but a few shiny baubles do not make a great hotel make.

Lots of issues:
- Asinine elevator system - I was on the top (17th) floor. The 4 elevators are on 3 different circuits, so you are pushing 3 buttons waiting and then they all arrive at once - and are all equally slow. 3 of the 4 are tiny. VERY frustrating and cramped
- Internet is extortionate - really expensive (€22 for 24 hours for "business" = fast rate). Even at that price it was very unreliable
- No iron. I asked for a iron and was refused as they are "too dangerous". I hung my suit in the bathroom and left the really hot shower running for 20 mins.
- Security was very bad. My key card stopped working (TWICE) and when I asked for a new one for my room, it was given to me - no questions asked. This happened TWICE. I could have mentioned any old room number and got a key.
- Location - although near a big rail interchange, it is still miles away from anything. Area is not nice, no restaurants and lots of building work going on..
- Service - Front desk service was mixed but predominantly bad. I was waiting in line and people just ignored me and served others first.
- TV - OK; I am a computer person and think I understand technology, but a Sky HD box in Italian was completely unfathomable. I am sure there were some other English channels in there somewhere, but I could only get 2 rubbishy news channels.

On the plus side
+ Breakfast was OK
+ Beds were comfortable
+ Metro stop is just a run across a busy street away (there is an underpass that goes from station to hotel entrance. Good luck finding it)

Room Tip: Stay on lower floor to avoid asinine elevator system and when your key stops working you are closer...

We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children. We stayed 1 night at this hotel and had 2 superior rooms. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean, and modern.

I was not looking for a centrally-located hotel in Milan. I just wanted to sleep there and leave the following AM,after breakfast. The price included breakfast but it was very very minimal and of poor quality.
