The hotel has a business traveller feel with a sleek clean look and very modern rooms. The bed is very comfy & the bathroom and shower are great. The location could be a little better, but for the $120 per night price(Priceline.com), I could not be happier.

There is no free wifi in the room though, only the lobby..really? Also, a short walking distance to Eataly, you must go there!

Last hotel booked for new year in Milan and it was a good one although it was a little far out from the city centre, the staff were friendly and the service was good. Rooms are comfortable and modern but let down by its location .

According to my previous review using different account, I 'd like to add more some details. The hotel is located just right in front of the passage to subway and urban train station ( Garibaldi) , the other also next to a tram station. Therefore , it makes us convenient to explore the town or go out of town for day tour. Actually , we traveled with tour group but the last day we stayed , the plane schedule was in the afternoon so we had a few hours for free. I and my daughter went to Viale Papiniano market by taking green subway from Garibaldi station in front of the hotel. I also was kindly given advices from the station man there , thank you. The market is lively and I recommend you to go when you stay at this hotel . ( only 5 stations away)

We stayed for 2 nights , traveled from Switzerland . The hotel is still new with chic and stylish design in every details from hand soap ( golf ball shape ) to hotel interior. Some are not practical such as wash basin , no dressing mirror with table but using mirror at the back of the room door instead. Please notice that there is no free wifi in this hotel . They charges 8 euro for 24 hrs and 12 euro for 48 hrs. We traveled in big group , mostly doing business (even though it is leisure travel), so, we need wifi which normally free at least at the lobby at other hotels. The waiter service in the dining room that used for breakfast buffet is average, only some of them were not so friendly. Also at the reception counter. The male receptionist was kind and informative but in the morning , only female one was there and not enough. Besides this 2 points, it is generally good hotel.

Stayed a the other Marriott a few nights before so this was a big change. No drive up to the entrance. Park in a lot 25 meters away. Not sure why but there you have it. No valet and the parking lot here was tighter than the one in Finale at the San Pietro. Check in was smooth. With he exception of the glass counter, the bathroom should be the blueprint for Marriott's worldwide. Very nice tub/shower combo. While the glass counter is architecturally pleasing the sink that make it a 1 piece unit is worthless. You can't wash your hands in it with out water splashing on the counter. The glasses provided don't fit, they are too tall. Very strange. It looks sharp but lacks functionally. Improve that and as I said before its a world class bath. Mattress allowed for a good night's sleep. The bar has a great policy. First drink on the house!

Room Tip: Due to our level with Marriott they put us in a good room. Sorry no advice as to how to chose.

This is a modern hotel with lots of grey and black, very modern. That is not really my taste so i wasnt that impressed. however for Milan the rooms were of a good size and light and airy. Aircon worked well and the mini-bar wasnt too expensive. There really wasnt a good hotel bar, however 5 mins away was a superb wine bar- i just wish i had noted the name. The location is mixed- it next to garibaldi station , so good links out. and about 30 mins walk to the centre of Milan. The area is an oriental district with many arian hotels and restaurants- reasonably safe feeling at night.
THis is a good business hotel, but lacks character for a romantic Milan stop-over

Room Tip: High up the better for views

Fantastic location, situated minutes walk from Porta Garibaldi and 20 mins by tube to the Duomo.
Great breakfast and needless to say, service.
Having worked for the brand, the only downside that crosses my mind is the chefs' inability to offer more extensive food offering aside from that is already on the menu. Yet, the lounge is clearly not aimed at maximising F&B revenue so that explains why the less varied food offerings.

Particularly Luigi and Massiliano in Front Desk are great!
Would definitely not hesitate to return for the 3rd time!

P.S. great views from the top floors.
